So the reserves mean that you, the person who reserved them, get to apply for them and anyone who tries to snag them by finishing their app during that time frame will be denied.   You still need to be accepted, of course, but you’re the only one who will be allowed to apply for your canon with your chosen face claim until your reserve expires.
