I will keep making backrooms posts. My viewing experience was pretty awesome because when me and my dad went to see it we went to a theater in the mostly empty end of a strip mall. There was a massive abandoned sears right next door and the theater was connected to a mall which was, of course, empty, besides like two people, and even beige!!!! There was also like one other guy in the room watching the movie with us

I wish there was more fanmade stuff about Clark and Mary I get that everyone is very interested in the backrooms themselves as a character and drawing versions of it is fun I suppose (although TO BE HONEST... MY opinion is that i drgaf if you're putting your oc or favorite character in the backrooms unless they're there for a reason. just plopping them in there isn't that interesting) I STILL really like those two characters and how they interacted with the backrooms. The story was so interesting because of how the backrooms reflected them: they both kind of clung to the past. Mary gazes towards the past because she never fully figured out her mother long after her childhood and still wracks her memories for an answer (my interpretation idk) and Clark resents the present for being the consequences of his past actions, which he only really wants to remember from his perspective. That is so much more interesting than those two college students or whatever. I also want to see more about those still lifes/memory copies. where are their real selves (if they're still alive)? what was their experience with the backrooms like???

I like how sad Captain Clark looked. the whole time he had this bewildered, despairing look on his face. When Mary escapes through that narrow passageway we can hear him making sad whining sounds. The whining preceding and following the attack... the whining....!

I don't get the posts about the backrooms about how people from different time periods would experience it. Why would the backrooms be the exact same in like the dark ages when the whole thing is based off human memory and is constantly interacting with the outside world??? A lost Victorian housemaid would not be seeing the same humming electric lamps, it would be reminiscent of something else she'd remember, like the unremarkable wooden walls of the house she was born in, or, like, stone catacombs. If the backrooms even existed back then at all.... I kind of like the idea of the backrooms as something that was invented to increase storage space at a low cost by some company in the 70s
