This the first marriage he had been to. Well the first he could remember. There were so many people he didn't know and it was a little scary for a 6 year old boy. He vaguely remember his mother having temporary "boy friends" but this was the first wedding he recalled. Those men never lasted long and non of them loved him or his siblings like Mama did. He was sure his new "father" would be just as bad as the others. He didn't need him, Mama was all he needed.
"Why? He's no different than the others... I have you, so who needs to socialize with them?" Little cracker stated downcast at first but then brightening as he spoke about his mom. Sure his siblings were here and he could play with them, but they were mostly busy with Linlin's latest wedding. Those that were too young were playing but those like his triplet sisters were going to be flower girls. He hadn't been given anything to do himself and was mainly waiting to get into the feast and cake part that big brother Perospero told him about.
LinLin threw a small glance over to Cracker and couldn’t help but to smile at the childs refusal. She couldn’t really blame him after all, LinLin was known for her habit of changing husbands after they gave her a child, so interacting with a temporary man in his life wasn’t on his top list of priorities she guessed. It didn’t really mattered in the end anyway.
“Fine, be my guest, but at least look a little more cheerful, it’s a wedding and not a funeral” LinLin said, kneeling down so that she was at Cracker’s size, ruffling the childs hair gently. “Besides, the best part comes soon anyway, the feast afterwards is my favorite and i know for certain it’s yours too, isn’t it?” her smile was genuine, like always when food was in play.
“Let’s spend time together then until it’s time for the feast, alright? I heard Streusen put on especially tasty treats today, isn’t that wonderful?” she exclaimed, offering her shoulder for Cracker to climb on.

Nova stared, nearly petrified at the large woman’s terrifying stature- or perhaps it was the undeniable strength she sensed emanating off of her. Either way, it made her clutch the basket of mangoes tightly to her chest.
“A-Ah… I’m… could you… please repeat that…?”
Staring at the other for a while, LinLin bowed down, tilting her head slightly. She had never seen this woman before and normally she knew about everyone in her kingdom. She decided to find out more about it.
“I asked who you are. I haven’t seen you around here before, are you new in Totland?” if yes, why had no one of her children told her about someone new? At least she looked halfway interesting.
“You look quite strange though, what race are you?”

Carrying a doofy sort of a smile on her face, sharp tooth and all, Soliel gave a glance around then forward. This lady was big!! She looked bigger than dad- and Jack maybe- BIIIGGG! She should just walk away- but- Her little black wings fluttered as she took a litttle step back.
“ i uhh soliel!! n’ gunna b’... strong beas’ like dad n jak- ”
It took a moment for that to sink in, but as soon LinLin realized who the father of this little ray of sunshine was, her eyes began to sparkle. If King didn’t wanted to join her crew, she always could try to woo in his child instead, she was part of his race as well, thus very valuable for her plan in making an utopia for all races....
Her smile grew bigger as she offered her pinky finger towards Soliel, grinning.
“I am indeed, but i am also very strong, even stronger than your father actually, Mamamama. You`re a big girl already, aren’t you? Surely you are, judging your looks...” she mused, watching Soliel with growing interest.
“Do you like sweets? Because i really love them, and O-Shiruko! That red bean soup is just delicious~Haaaaaaaaaaaah, yes...”
