“So…I brought you some stuff to snack on.”

Pup may be grounded but kaii was not and she can do whatever she wante.

      “ oh- thanks kaii...!! ”

      Pup had a soft sort of smile, accepting the snacks, rather gratefully...Despite knowing his father wouldn’t just cut off his food supply, just his access to the kitchens...and really not being able to leave Ringo for...a bit. Really just assurance that the troublesome chick wouldn’t reach Udon. He was gonna have to think around the way to get the keys, usually they hide them in different places every time Pup did his little fiascos... Not that it ever stopped him.

      “ dad hasn’t given me any time for when i’m ungrounded...which is...not good. ”

“Mhm.”

Yamato had to respect the hustle, but ultimately it didn’t amount to anything except pain for Pup. Yamato shook his head. “Why do you insist on releasing them? I’ll ask you to be patient. The samurai of Udon will be free someday… but until then, as hard as it is, we need to bide the time. Queen can only accept so much oshiruko before he really punishes you.”

He’s been punished by Queen before, and it is not a good time. Yamato didn’t want to see that happening to his nephew.

      “ because some don’t get recaptured- and are ffree- even if it’s temporarily, it’s better than being stuck there...and i don’t always free them.....sometimes i just ffeed them- ”

      Pup shook his head, he wasn’t sure about waiting for it to happen. He had heard his father talking about the only way to get things to happen is to do them and stay strong doing it- For better or worse that might have encouraged Pup’s little escapades on trying to free those in Udon...

      “ i’m just going to lay here. a and maybe they won’t realize i did it, and it was just a fluke- or ssomething- ”

“And you also avoided Babanuki?” Yamato had to wonder what really went down in Udon??? “Your Ryuo really is impressive though… But if you did it accidentally…”

Yamato himself was unsure how to do it himself on his own, even if he vaguely knew he was capable of such a feat. And here Pup was, a child, doing it too. King would be impressed, if not annoyed by his antics. It would be amusing if it was just in annoyance to Queen, but the fact prisoners got released would be an issue…

“You won’t be able to hide forever. I suggest hiding behind your father instead of me. Queen wouldn’t hesitate to get me out of the way.” Even if King may be upset with him too, he knew the All Star had a certain softness towards his sensitive son.

      “ babanuki...the udon gifters...queen... ”

      He listed off, lifting his head then letting out a soft whimper as he fell over on his side, maybe it was more comfortable to be sort of laying down, even if he really didn’t shift his posture at all...His wings were flapping occasionally before simply going limp on the floor.

      “ i started freeing them like i usually do- just a few- bbut then they started attacking the guards, and i panicked- a little- and then daifugo and solitaire...and er...it wasn’t looking very good when i got out of there- ”

      He could try to go hide behind King...He knew his father wouldn’t hurt him, maybe get grounded...But sometimes he wasn’t sure if this time it would just be let slide- It was just easier to hide for a little, wait till the situation died down, then come out and hide behind his father-

“You released prisoners again?” Somehow, Yamato always knew what was up with Pup. Perhaps the chick was rather predictable. Queen would likely be storming in sometime in the near future. There was only so much Yamato could do against that man… Not while he was shackled…

      Pup shuffled and sat tightly in the smallest space(that he could fit in) that he could find. If he just hid for a few hours--maybe a day, he would be fine- He wouldn’t get in trouble and this would all brush over without anything too big happening...What was he thinking, that was way too optimistic...If me had some really good oshiruko maybe it would be fine, that was more realistic- maybe- oh but if he went to the kitchen now then Bao would see him, she probably was made aware of the situation already...maybe-

      “ well....er....that...and accidentally maybe- um maybe daifugo aand solitaire are unconscious because of me, maybe- i didn’t mean to it just happened and a-and- ”

Cedric owed her three subjects and since he couldn’t even get her one anyagi, Then she might as well grab and run the lunarian child and two other children she could make off with.

Chio, Pup and Kaii who was still in cedric’s custody for a bit. This will have to do, though she was far more interested in what was once a very hot topic.

A lunarian!! How Amazing!!! She’d have to let her superiors know!!!

To be greedy was natural and frankly? Ansfrida was very greedy and so very willing to keep this information from those who even supported her lunacy.

      It didn’t seem like there was any way out. Pup shivered, tiny black feathers beginning to shed from his rather large wings. Was he beginning to break down? It was certainly possible, his teeth gritting and eyes beginning to water. No tears had falling down his cheeks yet, only the glazing over those intensely magenta eyes. Pup didn’t want to stay here, he wanted to go home, he wanted home. 

      Flames began to spark over his back before being fully fledged. What his father always taught him--when King wasn’t around and he was in danger, the fire. Fire would protect him. He would be okay so long as he was still a blaze, he had to stay that way. If only he could just fly away, though...
