I have regular contact with an elderly person on immune suppressants and am high risk myself. I get more glares for existing in public than people in MAGA hats. Wearing a covid mask is a bigger "scarlet letter" than being a nazi even if you never ever bring the pandemic up. You ARE the representation of the pandemic and people will take their trauma out on you.
