I'm assuming Clawline, swift step, Cling grip, Thread storm and Silkspear but...

Silk Soar maybe? What about parry? Does she have some tool pouch and crafting kit upgrades? How about her crest? I would assume that you would make it Hunter's with all slots unlocked to have more ways to play around with her abilities. Or do you intend to add an alternative to memory lockets?

So anything we see Hornet do in Hollow Knight we can see her do in LSWGs. In Silksong we see Hornet at the absolute weakest she's been since she was very little, her abilities drained by the rune-cage the choir-bugs have trapped her in, and it's because of Weavers past lending her their strength that she gets her abilities back/new abilities/upgraded skills.

Meh. Writing is bad lately. Writer's block sucks. I shake this fic and other plunnies around in my brain every day at work and think to myself how nice it would be to get words out of my brain and then I go home and don't write.

Also, Salubra says Charms form from dying bugs desiers. Could in this case a "proto charm" be created?(like the one Ghost finished from Kataras second necklace)

If Ghost were to come across monk Gyatso's remains there would be nothing to see with the Dreamnail for reasons.

As far as charms go, Salubra states that while most charms appear from a bug's dying wish we can also see that quite a few in game come from other sources, including those made by gods (shape of Unn, Grimmchild, Kingsoul, arguably Defender's crest), those naturally formed (sporeshroom, hiveblood, Deep Focus), and even those made by living bugs who are still around (the fragile charms, the grub charms, etc.)

Not much in the first story will have to change. There are some ... ideas I want to introduce but nothing too plot significant for now.

Hornet, suddenly disappearing for a bit before the Northern Water Tribe and shows up before the season one finale jaded, with a bunch of new tools, and with Lace after sailing the sea of sorrow.

She's still trying to wash muck roach stench out of everything.

I feel like Hornet would enjoy most of the meats she gets to eat, especially fish. Food that just swims in the water and requires a net to catch? Easy meal.

I bet she would also enjoy blubbered seal jerky because of the extra fat content (like eating a tasty grub!). I think I have Hornet eating different types of bug Jerky as a food source to begin with, but mammals sure do jerky well.

Also give that bug an egg custard tart from the Earth Kingdom! Eggs are interesting food types and the tarts are exciting and tasty treats. Insect eggs are not good for this type of meal making, so she can't bring it back to Hallownest.

I feel that a lot of the skills you can get in Skong are just Hornet regaining abilities she had in Hollow Knight after being drained from the journey to Pharloom. That cage she was in sapped her strength and every time you get a Weaver movement upgrade the ancient Weavers are just lending Hornet their strength and revitalizing her after she lost just about everything.

But the needolin ability is a specific song taken directly from Widow. I feel like Hornet already knew she could pull her silk across her needle to make an instrument, it was just a skill she didn't need to use. The Ancestral Weaver song is what she learned from Widow. She's also really good at picking up tunes on the fly as she learns the threefold melody and the beastling song etc. after hearing them one time.
