I remember the announcement that Chester was going to be singing for Stone temple pilots for awhile. Honestly I thought this isn't going to go over well. But seeing him on stage with them at the #bigticket here in #jacksonvillefl was absolutely electric. His energy and his voice, I'd been in love with him since I was thirteen. Halfway through the set he jumped off stage near my end of the gate and ran over. I took a chance with reaching my hand out and once he climbed up onto the gate mine is the one grabbed. He held onto my hand for what seemed like forever while everyone around him reached out to pat him and pull his clothes. He jumped down and ran to the other side and for months after I was still in fan girl awe. #linkinpark was everything when I was in school and even after they were the one band that everyone had in common.
