It will get dark, so dark that you will reach out to the darkness for help.
Hope that it doesn't answer you.

Is there such a thing as wasted effort? Just because it didn't bear the results you were expecting does that mean you failed?
You know what? I wouldn't mind being a fool for you.
Maybe there is no point to this thing we call Life, maybe we are here cause we are here, maybe just maybe this is it.
“But good God, what’s wrong with me, after all? What am I missing? Why this emptiness, this nostalgia? What is this anxiety, as if I only loved something I didn’t know?”
— Clarice Lispector, from a letter to Fernando Sabino featured in Why This World
It’s a strange grief. To die of nostalgia for something you never lived.

Because you fear tomorrow you have ruined today.
Honestly I do not understand myself, my emotions and my soul.
Maybe I'll never understand myself but I am here for all of it, whatever "it" maybe.
“But don’t forget who you really are. And I’m not talking about your so-called real name. All names are made up by someone else, even the one your parents gave you. You know who you really are. When you’re alone at night, looking up at the stars, or maybe lying in your bed in total darkness, you know that nameless person inside you.”
— Louis Sachar
— Chelsea Wolfe, from the lyrics of Boyfriend; Unknown Rooms.

— Clarice Lispector, from Why This World: A Biography of Clarice Lispector
The minute you start searching for reasons to stay and looking for excuses to give , its time to leave.
Always remember to pay the Piper.
“I must learn to love the fool in me - the one who feels too much, talks too much, takes too many chances, wins sometimes and loses often, lacks self-control, loves and hates, hurts and gets hurt, promises and breaks promises, laughs and cries.”
— Theodore Isaac Rubin
“Love never dies of a natural death. It dies because we don’t know how to replenish its source. It dies of blindness, errors and betrayals. It dies of illness and wounds. It dies of weariness, of witherings, of tarnishings, but never of a natural death.”
— Anais Nin

Four rich fathers go golfing.
One of them stays behind to pay the bill and the other three proceed to the first hole. While golfing, the three fathers start bragging about their sons.
The first father says, “I am very proud of my son Arthur; he is my pride and joy. He started working at a very successful company at the bottom of the barrel and now he is at the top! He became so rich that he gave his best friend a top of the line Mercedes Benz for his birthday.”
The second fathers says, “My son Ivan is also my pride and joy, I am very proud of him. He went to flight school to become a pilot and managed to become a partner in the company where he now owns the majority of the assets. He became so rich that he gave his best friend a brand new jet for his birthday.”
The third father says, “Well, well, well - congratulations! My son, Ludwig, is also my pride and joy and is also very rich. He became an engineer. He started his own construction company and became very successful and a multimillionaire. He built a mansion especially for his best friend.”
Then the fourth father catches up and they ask him how his son is doing.
The fourth father replies, “Oh, my son Alfred is gay and he makes a living dancing as a stripper at a nightclub.”
The three friends shake their heads and say, “What a shame, you must be so unhappy! How tragic.”
The fourth father replies with a bright smile, “Oh no, I am not ashamed at all! Alfred is my son and I love him just as well; he’s my pride and joy. And he is much loved by his friends too. Did you know that his birthday just passed and the other day he received a Mercedes Benz, a brand new jet and a huge mansion from his three suitors?”
Reblog to support proud father and his sugar baby gay son.
I follow the "leave nothing but footprints take nothing but photos" rule of state/national parks yeah because conservation. But also because when I was 11 i read a short story about a girl who went to a museum and stole a bandage flake off a mummy on display with the mentality of "im just one person one piece won't be missed" then at night she was visited by the mummy and it plucked a single hair from her head and then the next night a different mummy took another hair and she realized that there were only so many pieces to her before there would be nothing left and that story was forever wedged in my brain. Anyways leave cool rocks where you find them or the mummies will get you
