so the traits took me a long time to figure out who would have what and I didn't take into account if they could have a trait as a child... but trait moodlets still stick around even if you change the traits in cas so here's a way to get around that after childhood for some of the gens:
Open the cheat console with Ctrl + Shift + C and type testingcheats true
Type traits.remove_trait [TraitName] to remove the unwanted trait (e.g., traits.remove_trait Noncommittal).
Type traits.equip_trait [TraitName] to add your newly desired trait.

Growing up in a household where every broken appliance was a crisis and every simoleon mattered, Green became determined never to struggle financially. They see their parent's lonely, self-reliant lifestyle as a warning rather than an inspiration. Driven by a desire for comfort and security, they throw themselves into business while maintaining a profitable garden on the side. Though they never doubted their parent loved them, they often felt like they came second to work and responsibility. Spending much of their childhood outdoors in the garden, Blue developed a love of nature and eventually discovered a passion for fishing. Seeing how consumed Green became by their career, Blue decides they never want to be tied down to a demanding job. Instead, they make a living through fishing and selling their catches, valuing freedom and family over wealth. When they become a parent themselves, they vow to always put family first. Purple grew up with a parent who was determined to do everything right. Blue constantly encouraged family activities, outdoor adventures, and quality time together, but Purple often found it exhausting. While Blue wanted them outside fishing or spending time with family, Purple longed to curl up alone with a book, a notebook, or their own imagination. Reading became an escape, writing became an outlet, and creativity became a way to build worlds they could control. Though they appreciate how deeply their parent cared, Purple spends much of their life seeking the independence and privacy they lacked as a child. Purple genuinely tried to be a good parent, but Pink often felt like they were competing with books, manuscripts, and imaginary worlds for their attention. While Purple preferred quiet nights at home, Pink craved excitement, attention, and human connection. As they grew older, they became determined to live life as loudly as possible. They chase romance, parties, and new experiences, never staying in one place or relationship for too long. Though incredibly charming, Pink can be surprisingly cruel when things don't go their way. Rainbow's childhood is anything but stable. With both parents involved in criminal activity, they spend much of their early life constantly moving from place to place, never staying anywhere long enough to form lasting friendships. Eventually, the danger catches up with the family, and Rainbow is sent to live with their grandparent, Grey, for a safer and more stable life. Surrounded by Grey's photographs and artistic eye, Rainbow discovers a love of creativity and begins painting as a way to express themself. Despite finally finding a safe home, they struggle with loneliness after years of instability. Turning to the internet, they begin exchanging letters and making pen pals from around the world, eventually collecting postcards from every corner they can reach. Unlike the generations before them, Rainbow chooses optimism over cynicism. They grow into a cheerful, artistic Sim who values friendship, laughter, and connection above all else.
