do you have any tips for rendering?
Iām probably not the best person to ask that cause I spend a ridiculous amount of time looking for references š¤”, but what really helped me learn rendering was watching other artists do it. I also like soft palettes, so I find a reference close to what I want and tweak the colors to understand how they work together. Hope that helps!!
I love your art so much!!!!! the colors always look great
Seeing this after struggling to pick colors is so refreshing dhsjhsjsjsjs THANKUUUU!!

Teeny tiny people
Silly thing I didn't finish
WIP fan art of a scene from "Talk to me dirty; Talk to me sweet", currently my favorite lawless byler AO3 fic. I decided to not do something graphic and actually go in and draw in Procreate. I'm rusty as shit. [stranger things edits & illustration]
Mike's "wtf" face is cracking me up. Will is low-key cheesin.
Walkie Talkie: "What would you do to me baby... Tell me."
Mike: "Should we prank them?"
Will: "I don't know..."
spicy fics are fun, but theyāre even better when theyāre well-written & hilarious
I scrolled through your art, and your improvement in such a short period is crazy!! Do you have any tips?
I really wish I had some crazy good tips, but honestly I donāt really know how to help with this š a few things did help me a lot though.
I used to be reeeally bad at perspective and anatomy, so using real-life references changed a lot for me. Most of the time it was just for practice. Doing lineart over photos helped me understand those better and made drawing on my own way easier later. like, way easier.
I also always flip my canvas to see if something looks off. When I draw traditionally, I use a mirror for the same thing.
Watching speedpaints and following artists you like helps a ton too. Speedpaints especially helped me understand lineart and rendering. I still struggle a lot with rendering, but they were honestly lifesavers. Emilyenaās speedpaints on YouTube are my favorites for this, but it really depends on the art style youāre going for and which artists you think could help you.
Grayscale also helps a lot. When I donāt get the lighting or shadows, removing color makes it easier to see whatās wrong.
Doing your own references can help too. like taking photos of things, posing yourself, or mixing a few pictures together to make something you can draw from. there are apps for that kind of stuff as well.
I donāt really know a lot about them though, mostly because iām too lazy to look for more, but posemyart is one I use sometimes.
Kinda cliche, but doing quick sketches is pretty helpful too. They can be simple, not really focused on being perfect. As someone who compares herself a lot and wants everything to be perfect, this really helps me chill and just enjoy drawing while still practicing
āAslo, redrawing the same thing a few times. If you donāt like how something turned out, just redo it. Donāt get too attached or think you canāt make it better. first tries are usually messy
Anyway, I hope this is actually helpful and not painfully obvious š§š»thanks for the ask though!! :)
I love your profile

iāve played these games before
So, the lesson here is that if you are different and deal with any kind of disability, and your life will be more difficult due to that difference or disability, you should probably just die. Be grateful for the men in your life who kept you trapped like a little bird before your untimely death. That was just because they loved you so much! (Jane).
Also, if you are emotionally repressed and self-involved, and use fantasy roleplay as a means to escape your clearly unresolved mental health issues, you should continue to self-isolate and sabotage your relationships. For uh... reasons. (Mike).
And if you're gay, you need to learn that not everyone is gay like you! Some people are straight, silly! But hey, after being abused and orally assaulted, you will eventually meet a nice guy in a bar. Just don't gay kiss in public! Ew! (Will).
These are our outcasts and freaks, dawg. This is our show that said forced conformity was killing the kids.
Shit posting aside I am so sorry... I'm not sad myself because this just left me empty and kinda laughing, but I am so sorry if you're feeling sad right now, I promise it's gonna get better and you'll get over this and if you need to let the ship or the show go for a while do that, do a binge watching of good queer shows and media and fanfictions, we will make better things in the future for all of us and they will die out one day they will be gone and we will progress as a society, don't lose hope and keep pushing against them as much as you can and try to enjoy the queer joy that other queer people try to spread in the world š«

Why did Mike look like he was realizing something after El kissed him in front of Willās closet in s3? Why couldnāt he hug Will at the airport in s4? Why couldnāt he say I love you to El in s4 AND s5? Why do Mike and El seem entirely unromantic in s5 so that their kiss feels like it comes out of absolutely nowhere? Why are Mike and El shown to be incompatible in s3 and s4 and Mike is paralleled with Brenner, Elās canonical abuser? Why does El say Mike understands the ātrue herā when she thought he thought she was a monster in s4? Why did Mike say in s4 āit was a fight they couldnāt come back fromā only to get back together? Why did Mike and El have their first kiss in s2 to a song about stalking and control? Why did Mike spend s4 staring at Willās lips? Why are Jancy addressed as trauma bonded but not Mike and El (who got together as children, when El was a nonverbal amnesiac freshly out of an abusive lab, and when their bond was completely formed around the traumatic events of trying to save Will and hide from Brenner)?
Who IS Mike Wheeler? Why does he do any of the things that he does? As it stands, he is absolutely nonsensical
Am I the only one who found it weird, off-putting, and unnecessary when Hopper was talking El down from suicide (self-sacrifice, same thing) and used the fact that she might have a kid of her own one day as a reason for her to stay alive? El is a teenage girl who has not once expressed any desire to become a mother in the future. She is traumatized and has never had any agency in her life. She is also, I must repeat, a teenage girl. Why are we using becoming a mother as motivation to talk down a teenager from suicide? Why are we acting like this is something El wants and has always wanted? Why do male writers always reduce female charactersā bodies to their ability to make babies? Women and girlsā lives are not valuable because of their ability to have childrenāwe are inherently valuable no matter what our bodies may or may not be capable of, whether or not we want kids at all. Our lives have worth because they are ours.

Idk if itās just me, but one of the things that disappointed me the most about the finale is how the show piled way too much trauma onto almost every character without really knowing how to deal with it in a meaningful or realistic way.
What was the message even supposed to be? You canāt spend multiple seasons torturing, abusing, manipulating, and using Willāhaving him possessed, bullied, humiliated, forced to carry other peopleās pain, and nearly killed over and overājust for it to end with him standing there like, āWow, crazy times, right?ā as if most of it never actually happened at all. Like all that suffering was only there to give a false sense of depth, not because the story ever planned to seriously deal with the consequences of it
And this isnāt just a Will problem. It applies to nearly everyone. So many characters go through extreme trauma, but the show rarely lets them process it in ways that feel human or consistent, which makes it all feel strangely dismissive rather than meaningful.
If youāre going to put your characters through hell, you owe themāand the audience, especially people who have been or are in similar situationsāsomething honest in return
Queer people never get the ending they deserve.
