SoS Saga Sprites Part 1
Yo! So, as the title says, these are the SoS (Scions of the Seraph) Saga VN sprites that I’ve been working on. You may not have known I had been working on them... you may have known, who knows? Anyways, I’ve been working on these for the last few months and I’m nearly done with all of them.
So, without further ado, lets see these characters shall we?
Jennie with the love interests in the game (Kasei, Rem, and Reiyl) then the baddie (Rowen). The characters belong to @crestforte and drawn by @dejinyucu. These are t-shirt designs that can be purchased later once the game is released.
I accidentally erased my old Tumblr account (sossaga) where I had most of my Scions of the Seraph (my own story) and fan art. I was hoping to be able to find some of my old posts that some of my followers might have reposted.

So, since it’s been a while since I’ve done a semi-realistic painting (and I’m totally obsessed with my OCs right now) I decided I would repaint an old semi-realistic painting of Vincent. Obviously I could do a LOT more with the new portrait, but I decided to stop right here. I’ve noticed that my shading has become more accurate (although, there’s still work to be done there) and I’ve also gotten better at using colors (again, there’s still room for improvement). Also, I still really REALLY enjoy that new brush I created. XD I think it’s because it reminds me of a paper texture that you would get if you used color pencils or used chalk pastels without blending. Or I just like having texture in stuff that I draw. XD
Also, here’s a really ugly animation of Vincent’s hair flowing in the wind. XD
It’s 1 am and I should be in bed (although, what is sleep anyways?) but I wanted to draw my babies.
This is Nayeen and Vincent.
Nayeen is a half elf half angel (although, in my story Angels are just very beautiful beings that don’t have wings and can get sick like anyone else, but if they take care of themselves and don’t get stabbed or anything, they can live for basically an eternity). She enjoys gardening and is an overall cheerful girl that enjoys making others smile.
Vincent is a... well, I guess it’s easiest to say that he’s basically a mutt. Although, his mother was a dragon so he’s half dragon, I guess. No, his ear wasn’t chewed off or anything, that’s actually what his ear looks like. Anyways, he’s generally a very confident person who grew up as a farm hand and was raised by half elves. He enjoys writing in his free time but also enjoys learning how to fight for what he believes in. Oh, and he’s bi with a preference for men. This is important because...
Both Nayeen and Vincent originally fell in love with the same person. Vincent had known this person for basically his whole life and, even though he dreamed of having a family of his own one day, he was prepared to throw it away for this man that he loved. He was never able to admit his feelings however, as this man had already fallen in love with a beautiful maiden that shared his feelings. Nayeen had met this man when going to the market one day and ran into him, doing something with her arm causing it to dislocate. Thankfully, the man knew how to put it back in place and the rest was history.
When both Nayeen and Vincent had learned that this man was to be wed, they both didn’t know how to react. Vincent had found himself in the depths of despair and that is when Nayeen, always wanting to see people smile, came to cheer up that then stranger. When they learned that they had fallen in love with the same person they became friends that later became more than that. Obviously, there’s more to the story, but given what time it is right now, I need to go to bed. XD
I will say this, though. You will learn this story when I finally get the time to write the VN that these two characters appear in. ^_^; They were originally going to be pursue-able characters that would have ended up with no one in the end but I ended up loving them so much that I kinda got carried away...
Anyways, ONE DAY! One day I’ll write their story but at the moment I need sleep because... sleep. (Still wondering what that is...) I hope you enjoy my quickly sketched/colored mini comic strip thingy.

I made a new brush today and decided to try it out so... I have two little doodles. One is Kasei from SoS Saga whereas the other one is just some random character. XD
^_^ I really like this new brush. :3 I might use it more often.

Sat down for a little while to play some Warframe with a friend when the most annoying thing happened... All mission requirements would have been met. orz We waited for 40 minutes to see if it would fix itself... NOPE! The one problem with games that are still, technically, in beta. >_<
I am extremely sorry for the lack of updates over here on Tumblr. I’ve been fumbling around for months with the comic and game. I’m going to move everything back over to SmackJeeves. ^^;
At least the site will look nicer. I spent a few days on making it. The about. game, cast, and contact aren’t ready to look at, but you can at least read the comic. =D
I’ll still update on Tumblr, but I’ll probably just use my own personal blog. Head over to SmackJeeves or to my blog.

So, it’s my bro’s b-day today and he wanted me to draw something dark and light themed for it. Since we play the same online game together (Warframe) I decided to draw something from that. This is Equinox. Both my brother and I love Equinox even though we tend to play different Warframes other than them. (Valkyr and Rhino, respectively) Anyways, there’s more to this picture than meets the eye. Make sure the click the picture to look at it in it’s entirety. Looks like I’ll be useless for a while. XD
IT’S SUPER HELPFUL FOR ARTISTS! Seriously. I’ve spent hours on it already. There’s an option to freaking POSE YOUR CHARACTERS, too. So if you ever need a reference for a pose, there, you go. You don’t have to go tearing up the internet for a specific pose, you can just CREATE IT YOURSELF! There are some limitations but, for the most part, you can create whatever post you want. Also, there are limitations with the faces as well, although, more so with the men than the women (you have 5 different models to chose from for women, 3 for men). However, those limitations are minimal and it’s a fantastic character creator. (Note: I have already made a bunch of my OCs with it. XD)

Injuries may be forgiven, but not forgotten… – Aesop Once you take the life of someone before their preordained time, you must pay atonement for the mistake. The severity of the fault determines the time of repentance.
There’s no CGs at the moment, but I figured it would be okay to share the beginning part of the game where you meet all the guys. It’s very short, the GUI isn’t that great, and I’m iffy on the placement of the music, but I hope you like the story premise.

I definitely won’t have it all ready by the end of the month for NaNoWriMo, but I will keep working on it. For now, I’ll share the progress of the story and characters.
Chandler revolves around four young men (Tomas, Werner, Marius, and Eirick) who are being punished for their past sins by gathering dying souls. Once they have collected their decided quota, they will be free to move on to their next life.
Meet Tomas and Werner, the first two that have had their sprites finished.
