Eldest Brother

Is he just going to stand there....?

Inside his head Eiden weeps a little. He can't quite get a read on the guy but... it's a little awkward. Especially if they're going to be talking more which Eiden did hope they would.

" I'm fine! Works been a little bit busy but err... Actually someone from the world I were previously just came here and...."

The chatter hits an invisible wall there. He pauses then glances up at Choso who's still standing there, with the pizza and all....really Eiden can't just keep ignoring it.

" Erm.... "

Alright. He’s in. Now he just has to keep the conversation going, and, thankfully, Eiden’s given him plenty to go by. The only question is does he start with asking about work or the person from his world. It’s probably better to actually know what Eiden does, but is it rude to not know?

siblings are something that gojo has never had to deal with, he was the only child in his family. being spoiled rotten by the family and barely getting in any sort of trouble, glad that he didn't have any sort of brother or sister.

"so you're that other brother yuuji mentioned? never thought he would be related to a death painting," to be fair...gojo doesn't really know much about yuuji's family. the only family he was only aware about was his student's grandfather and nothing else. he figured that he wouldn't bother the poor boy about any other family members, it was probably a touchy subject for yuuji.

"Pajama party," he muttered absentmindedly, I never did get to have the middle school sleepover experience. His vision focused on Choso as he returned to reality. Neither did Choso nor our brothers. "Yeah, let's do it. I won't stop Kugisaki or Megumi from joining." He imagined the careless teenagers fumbling into the entertainment room with implacable curiosity. Nobara's commentary on the horror movies and Megumi's soft, disgruntled noises as he drifted. Regardless if they intruded, Yuuji preferred it that way. The more people around him, the less alienated he felt.

Because he doesn't need to know who Yuuji was, to want for him to be able to be that unbothered child again. All Choso needs to know is that his little brother has a weight on his shoulders to want to relieve him of it.

"I don't mind," Choso shrugs at the idea of Yuuji's friends joining them. He hesitates, then places a firm hand on his brother's shoulder. A hug is considered, but Choso isn't that accustomed to physical contact yet. "You can relax. I'll handle everything," He asserts, looking Yuuji dead in the eyes. It's earnest, but maybe a bit more intense than the situation calls for. "It'll be fun."

Eiden was used to that kind of thing, Aster's mansion tended to get even more chaotic so it was easy for him to settle him into scene like that - however in that chaos as well as Eiden's quick-paced everyday life it had the chance to get to know his older brother easily slipped by. He probably should have put some more effort into it but setting up an appointment felt too formal, too awkward. The guy seemed kind of quiet anyway it felt like he would have put him on the spot.

But better later than never. Seated at the kitchen table Eiden's all focused to his phone, doing dailies on mobile games while nibbling on the pizza until Choso enters. It's a good thing he doesn't drop the phone onto the cheesy mess.

" Ahhh! Hi. Afternoon... " he quickly responds and then pushes the pizza ahead to Choso's reach. He'd ask the guy to sit but once again... it seems formal, the guy lives here just the same after all.

"Sure, I'll take some," Choso nods. He wonders, as he takes a slice, if he should sit down. It feels a little weird to ask, but at the same time he doesn't want to force himself into Eiden's space. It seems like he's comfortable doing his own thing. Maybe now's not the time. Choso decides to at least stay until he's eaten a bit of pizza.

"I didn't celebrate Halloween that much," he muttered, scratching his head. "Didn't care to dress up. Before I met Fushiguro, I went to haunted places with my middle school friends. It wasn't that fun or interesting." Yuuji smoothed back his head, "People... they dressed up," his vision crackled with charred, bloody, dismembered corpses adorned in fun and cute costumes, "partied in cities... stayed up all night." He blinked away the visions and forced himself to breathe, "Eiden watches horror movies on Halloween. I recommend the Human Earthworm series." Slowly, Yuuji began to feel his soul burning with life. "First one is good," his voice rose an octave, "but Human Earthworm 2 is the best! A friend explained why it's so good. I'll have to tell you what he said about it when you watch it. We can watch it together. Ah, the three of us: Eiden, you and I can all watch it together. I wish my friend could explain it himself, but I'll do my best to explain it for him!"

When Yuuji first starts answering, Choso catches the discomfort, but his brother keeps speaking and his usual vigor starts to return. The curse isn't sure what to make of it, or if he should press the issue.

18 ⊱ my muse tries on your muse’s clothing.

19 ⊱ my muse surprises your muse.
