A birdie flies over Eiden’s head and drops a plastic-wrapped package into his arms. Opening it up you find a shiny plate embedded with real gold and…the word “Pervert” printed dead center?

Huh. What's this about? Eiden removes the wrappers, carefully sliding the item out. Seeing it, his face turns into unimpressed stare.

" ....why do I have a feeling I know who sent this? "

He sighs but then cracks a little smile.

" Well. I don't entirely dislike it! Thanks for a thoughtful gift. I'll use it wisely. "

He probably shouldn't have trusted pixie's advice, he knows that, really but having helped out and all... he thought he'd have gotten a reward or something. Ticket out of the forest. Maybe it was greedy of him.

The direction's totally off now, Eiden's legs are getting tired. Taking a seat on a rock when he hears something. Not wasting anytime, he's quick up on his feet, moving through some foliage, moss, grass and twigs into a small open field where he spots someone - a boy, pretty young looking, not looking towards him as it stands.

" Ah, err... " he calls for attention a little awkwardly, " hiya? You okay there? "

Nothing to suggest that he isn't, not on a quick glance anyway but he figures it's nice to ask. Airaisal Forest is pretty big after all, he could be lost too!

On the Spirale University library Eiden's made himself a base with bunch of books, varying in subjects. He's mostly after inspiration, hoping one of them will scratch some part of his brain but he's also pretty engaged, having gradually forgotten all about that.

This one's just a collection of paintings from a specific time period. Eiden's been shuffling the book for a while now and finally stops at one page. Young boy's sorrowful eyes stare him there, carrying a stretcher with another child eyes cast off. On those stretches sits a white figure - an angel, blindfold on their eyes.

" Hmm.. "

Staring at the painting he makes a thoughtful hum.

“O-okay, th-th-that sounds good…” Still wringing his hands, Till glances furtively between them and Eiden. He’s not sure what to say now. The only friends Till had ever made, he'd made at school, where he was sure to see them every day. He’s not quite sure what happens next.

“I’ll… s-see you around…?” Till hesitates, searching for a phrase people use here. “I-I’ll… t-text you?”

‘I did it!’ Till internally cheers, hardly waiting for Eiden’s answer before privately celebrating. ‘He said we were friends! I made a friend!’

Till turns to the side and does a little fist-pump in jubilation, hopefully out of Eiden’s sight, his face flushed with pride and glee.

It takes a lot for him not to snort a little at the celebratory gesture. It's endearing though, if you ask him. He gets up, patting up his jeans a little before peeking Til at eye level for a thumbs up.
