Walking the path is not the same as knowing the path. A man, with disgust said, “you’re righteousness is your problem.” Neither boastful or egotistical, but he witnessed my goodness. He measured it against his own motives and resented me for being pure with my intentions to follow a path. People will always put down the goodness of others. Especially when it highlights how far they are away from God. Gossiping, Lying, practicing hate will all lead to resentment and disrespect. Righteousness is not rejecting people who act like this, it’s continuing to lead by example. Follow the actions of Jesus and hope to bring people into the light of God’s love. They cannot be forced into the light so listen to God when he says, “walk away from that person “. He knows who can be saved.
