No matter how you look at Bloodbound’s finale... being with Kamilah is by far the most tragic and heartbreaking route.

Not to get too deep about a choices book, but this is such an important point for young (and older!) people. When i got my bachelor's degree, I was afraid to change my major and risk not graduating in 4 years. I felt like I had a very tight timeline for my life. This ended up with me going back to school to get a second degree in nursing at age 26 (now with a 1 year old) and I was by far not the oldest one. I had classmates in their 30s, 40s and even one over 50. I'm in my mid 30s now and I might still go back for Nurse Practitioner, because there is still plenty of time. My aunt started her PHD in her 20s and decided to finally finish it when she was 60. You are never to old to learn and change careers. You don't have to have everything figured out when you are 18, 22 or even 50. You have time.
I’ll add to this as well. I went to college at 17, straight out of high school, and flunked out HARD. I wasn’t ready, and I didn’t feel ready until I was 22. My major had already changed back and forth a few times, but when I declared my major I was absolutely sure. I couldn’t have known this was the route I wanted to go at 18. At that point I was able to get through undergrad and grad school in 6 years, and I got excellent grades. Having also worked with kids whose parents are terrified of their kids not going straight to college and trying to force it, I always told them my story and emphasized the importance of people going to college when they know they’re ready, because they WILL know, and there’s NO time limit. I had people in their 60s in my undergrad and grad cohorts and I appreciated it so much, they had so much knowledge to contribute.
