i’m sorry i don’t know if ill ever finish this but i wanted to make a poster for TRH at one point so ill share it
I wrote this song after reading the first version of my partner's novel, The Rotting Hound. The vocals are meant to represent the Emissary of Saturn, an instrument distinctly otherworldly compared to all the others, and the bassoon solo represents Vasak, devoted to her duty to support and uplift the melody of the Emissary, while also always reaching towards her beyond her limits.
The song goes through three time signatures, starting in 7/8, then 5/8, then 6/8 to represent the Emissary of Saturn's dominion over time.
Vocals by me, with supporting vocals from my good friend @rosespirit. Album art by me (also the cover of the book)

Borill
How the hell did I end up here? I still remember it vividly: I was on X (or Twitter, whatever you want to call it) and saw a thread ranking the most popular BL couples of all time, but in the TV/movie segment. And I'd love to find it, but that's not the point now. I checked it out, and in addition to several iconic couples in the fandom: Todd Anderson/Neil Perry, Derek Hale/Stiles Stilinski, or Drarry, there was Byler (Mike Wheeler/Will Byers) somewhere. That reminded me that I'd always liked them on screen, so I went straight to searching for fics. Long story short: I didn't like most of them, and by chance, I ended up in a Boril.
It was the beginning of my new life.
One night, alone and sipping a Negroni, I started writing. I did it until 11 am the next day. I wrote almost 20k in one sitting. I ended up completely hallucinating between the alcohol, the fatigue of the screen, and the fervent emotion of inspiration. Thus was born "Partners in Crime," which was supposed to be a one-shot to get the splinter out of my mind a little.
The splinter ended up having 300k and counting.
