When you explain that you have your period, Jyugo falls silent for a few seconds. Itâs not because heâs comfortable quite the opposite itâs clear he doesnât quite know how to act, as heâs trying to understand and avoid saying the wrong thing
He listens to you all the way through without interrupting, looking a bit stiff, and then finally asks awkwardly what usually helps you
Later, he discreetly asks Uno for advice. Well, "discreetly" might be a stretch⌠Uno catches on immediately and starts teasing him about being the "perfect boyfriend," which makes him even more uncomfortable
Jyugo tries to ignore the remarks completely even though his embarrassment is obvious and focuses only on the useful information He just wants to avoid making a mistake
The moment he notices you tensing up or placing a hand on your stomach, he stiffens slightly. He always takes a moment to react as if double checking that he isn't mistaken before standing up rather abruptly to get something to help you
He brings you a hot water bottle, a glass of water sometimes even too many things at once, as if afraid he might forget something important. He helps you get settled, though a bit clumsily, asking several times if youâre comfortable
Then, he sits nearby, not quite knowing what to do with his hands. He doesnât say much, but he stays there. Just⌠present. Always ready to move the moment you say something
If you become irritable or cry for no apparent reason, Jyugo panics internally. It shows a little in his eyes and the way he stiffens, but he never says anything hurtful
On the contrary, he hesitates and searches for the right words, eventually settling on something simple perhaps a bit awkward, but sincere. He doesnât necessarily understand everything, but he never questions your emotions
To him, if youâre crying, it means it matters. So he stays, even when he doesnât know what to say, and waits in silence for the moment to pass
Jyugo isnât the type for grand gestures, but he is incredibly observant
Without really realizing it, he commits details to memory your favorite chocolate, the drink you reach for when youâre feeling under the weather, the way you set up your hot water bottle
The next time around, he tries to recreate all of that. Not perfectly he might get the brand wrong or miss a detail but the intention is always there
And when he gets it right, he acts like itâs no big deal, even though itâs obvious heâs put a lot of thought into it beforehand
If you ask him to go buy some, he agrees immediately, even though it clearly pushes him out of his comfort zone
Standing in the aisle, he freezes for several minutes. He compares packages, reads every label, and checks the photo you sent him over and over again. He hesitates to ask for help, dismisses the idea, and finally calls Uno, trying to keep his voice as low as possible
When he returns, he hands you the package without a word, looking a bit stiff⌠but heâs also picked up a few extra snacks, just in case. He doesnât say why he just shrugs if you happen to notice
If he spots a stain, Jyugo freezes for a second, as if searching for the best way to handle it without making things worse
Then, he quietly steps closer and tells you in a low voice, without drawing any attention. Before you have time to react, he takes off his sweatshirt or jacket and hands it to you somewhat abruptly avoiding direct eye contact
Then, he stays by your side and walks you to a quiet spot, maintaining as normal a demeanor as possibleeven though you can sense he is hyper focused on not doing anything awkward
