And just because, I got this idea and was able to write it so quickly, I’m posting two fics in one night. This one is just a short little story that I came up with based off of Val and Laurie’s interview with access hollywood. I wrote it as a one part fic but if you would like me to continue it, I will after I finish What Happens After. Just let me know :) Hope you like it. 

Val and Laurie sat on the couch across from the hosts.The big dancing with the stars promo picture on the screen beside them.  The interview was going pleasantly. The questions that they had expected to be asked were asked. The olympics, how it is being one of the front running couples, how they feel their dance from last night went.

Sharna sat on her couch in her apartment, with Daisy and Duke on her lap. As she stroked them, she flipped on the tv, to access hollywood. He had mentioned to her that he was going to be on it today. She was nervous they’d ask him if he had a girlfriend. She didn’t know if he would answer the truth, or if he would dance around the question. Their relationship was nothing too serious yet. They were just taking it one step at a time. The relationship had surprised them both. But it had now been about a month, and things were starting to take a different turn.

As the interview was winding down one of the hosts ask Laurie, if she had a boyfriend. Val laughed and covered his eyes shaking his head as she answered.

“And Val? How about you?”

After Val went to pick up the cheeseburger and fries that Sharna said she was craving. They sat down on the couch eating, talking.

“So when did you find out?” Val said as he held a fry up in the air.

Sharna took a bite of it out of his hand.

“Hey! You have fries!”

“Yes, but I wanted yours. I’m pregnant. I’m allowed.”

Val smiled and laughed. “So when did you find out?”

“Only a few minutes before you got the text from me. I woke up this morning sick to my stomach, throwing up. Then I realized I was late. Really late, so I drove to the store and picked up the tests. By the time I got back you were gone.”

“You should have told me before you left. I would have gone with you.”

“I didn’t want to make a big deal about something if it wasn’t something.”

“So you’re excited?” “Oh my God, Yes. We’re going to have a little Chmerkovskiy running around.”

Val smiled imagining it. “Wow.”

Sharna took a big bite of her burger and smiled. “Do we think I have to tell Adam?”

“We do. That’s a big one.”

“Ehh.”

“Shar, you have to.”

“Can we do it together?”

“If you want to.”

Sharna nodded taking a bite of her food. “Peta and Maks first though”
