Logan: I see the bright side. I just don't like it as much. It's election season someone breathes near me and I am bothered.

Logan: Nah, I'm not ever at fault. It's not about them having power. It's that I am going to have a reaction when having to interact with them.

Logan: I have never shied away from that fact. But I can be a grump and other people still be the problem.

Logan: I wasn't on my futon. I think that is part of the problem in itself.

Logan: One thing I am thankful for DC for is it actually makes me homesick.

Emmy: I don't know about good packed. At least it'll make the day go by faster but looking at it now, it just looks like it's daunting packed and well, let's hope it really isn't all that bad....

Emmy: Everything! I don't think it's been this packed in well... forever.

Emmy: I've seen my schedule for tomorrow and I'm already dying.

“Oh no, it’s not like that. I’m not that judgmental but at this age you really should have your technique down. There is more to prove here,” she half-joked.

“Perhaps not, but you should still have a little bit of a standard! The standard can fluctuate, like if someone has most-but-not-all of the things you’re looking for, but not everyone should be so lucky! At the same time, I also believe that you should always do what you want. A good make-out sesh is nice after a dry spell, even if the other half isn’t your type.” The blonde lightly winced at the thought of it. “Actually, yeah. I’m skeptical of older bad kissers.Does that make me a bad person?”

“Honestly half of my secret is my mom’s genes. I swear that woman has never had a single pimple or blemish. Even in school pictures. I had to at least put in some work to get there.”

“Ooh, you’re one of the lucky ones! There’s a small part of me that’s envious of that, but I also can’t complain too much because I fall into the no-blemish group as well. My skin is not nearly as radiant as yours so there’s work to be done! Do you have a go-to face mask? There’s nothing better than a face mask and bubble bath combo.”

“So… should I be watching you tonight waiting for those signals then?” Jarret again teased. He smiled what was intended to be something of a humble smile, a nod accompanying that. “I find the older I get the less women are propositioning me in public places. It’s a shame, really.”

“Me? Well, I’ll never say never,” she spoke, cocking her head to the side. “You shouldn’t waste your time with me, though. If you’d like, I can help you keep an eye out for them. I have great vision despite my height,” she offered with a smile. “You think so? I get the George Clooney vibe from you. Aging like nothing short of a fine wine.”

“Is that you telling me you’re watching and waiting for a moment alone with me?” Jarret teased gently.

“Oh, no. No. I’m not that creepy,” she exhaled with a light laugh. “I’d at least give you the courtesy of a wink and a smile, accompanied by the nod toward the door. What I’m trying to say is, you’re a nice looking man so I wouldn’t put it past any woman here to try to get you alone.”

“Have you seen a good place to take a call real quick?”

“The only private places I’ve seen are the ‘seven minutes’ spaces, but be careful. You might have someone join you if they see you sneaking off alone.”
