“Wait – for real? We’re definitely celebrating. Congratulations!”

“I can hardly believe it myself but my boss just told me this afternoon. I knew that I could count on you to share in this with me.”

“No you aren’t!! Indie that’s amazing! Are you freaking out?” 

“Completely freaking out. And excited. This feels like such a long time coming but at the same time I can’t believe it is happening.”

Shayne: I'm an international man of mystery, normal rules don't apply to me.

Shayne: If you've heard any rumors about me today they're all false.

“Ooh, you’re one of the lucky ones! There’s a small part of me that’s envious of that, but I also can’t complain too much because I fall into the no-blemish group as well. My skin is not nearly as radiant as yours so there’s work to be done! Do you have a go-to face mask? There’s nothing better than a face mask and bubble bath combo.”

“You definitely can’t complain. You are absolutely gorgeous. I hardly think you need that much to have your natural beauty shine,” she spoke honestly. “I would like to tell you I am one of those cool home remedy type of girls but I just buy the cute ones at Target. If I could afford other shit though, I definitely would be spending it in skin care.”

“Well, in that case, it’s not just the event. You’re the hottest girl I’ve ever seen.” 

“It’s official. I’m in love with you. Is  spring wedding too soon?”

“I’m having fun. I think these things are always just a little cringey though. Don’t you?” 

“I don’t know,” she gave a shrug. “I think a planned event has its time or place. What is it that you don’t like?”

“Okay… truth or dare, beautiful?” Shayne cocked a brow, taking a sip of his drink.

“Why do I feel like no matter my answer you have one option for me?” She eyed him playfully.

“Well I do occasionally get let out for a few hours of freedom. Why I’m choosing to spend them at this weird slumber party thing is beyond me, but here we are.” 

“Is this your way of telling me you’re not having any fun?”

“Nope. In fact, you couldn’t be any more right. There’s no way I’m stooping that low and making out with any of these desperate drooly pigs.”

“Okay well pigs is a little harsher than what I was thinking. It’s not like I was expecting Chris Evans but I was ready to let the bottle have its fun.”

“Oh, stop! Your skin is flawless! I should be the one begging you to break down your skincare regimen for me. Love a good routine these days, especially one that will make me glow as much as you.”

“Honestly half of my secret is my mom’s genes. I swear that woman has never had a single pimple or blemish. Even in school pictures. I had to at least put in some work to get there.”

“Says the hottest girl at the whole event… I’ll gladly take that.” 

“Compliment me like that again and I just may be in love with you by the end of the night.”

“No, don’t be ridiculous. I have a color coding system going. You get all the gray stuff. My Tuesday girl gets red, Wednesday…” he trailed off with a smirk and a shrug.

“Is that how you have me in your phone?” She pretended to inspect his pocket like she was looking for his phone. “Gray girl?”

“Is this like the slumber party way of admitting you have a crush on me?”

“Everyone knows that kind of information can only be revealed with a game of truth or dare.”

“You have to come with me to the beauty bar section. I am in need of some love on this skin.

“I mean this in a very disrespectful way... You look insanely hot.”
