“Yeah! We can put them in little baggies!! And I can put ribbons on them!!”

“Mm. I guess not. BUT I’m still gonna eat a lot! Cuz auntie’s cookies are the BEST.”

“Yeah, Riku! It’s almost here, dude!”

“I’m gonna eat so many, I’m gonna get SICK!!”

Yozora noticed the shrugged and apologized for saying ‘M’Riku, he then replied.

“Ahhh true, this place does look bright and really small in size. I hope someday that you see places outside the islands, I believe that you will. Also, sorry for the mixup with your name Riku, didn’t mean to say it like that and the offer is greatly appreciated as it seems I’m stuck here for the time being and it looks like night is approaching.”

He said as he looked up at the pinkish orange sky with the sun slowly setting, stars were beginning to appear as the other part of the sky was a cool dark blue in hue.

“It’s fine. Don’t worry about it. When you want to go out to the island, use one of those little boats at the dock. We all have one to get over and there’s plenty to use so don’t worry about taking one.” He explained, gesturing off to the side to the little docks. 

Sora cried into his shoulder for a little while, clinging to his shirt. Though this time it felt a bit more like a weight is finally off his chest. Like things were finally looking up, that his future was brighter. And once again, Riku was the one to bring that feeling. Sora loved his best friend so much, and he hoped with everything he had that they’d stay together forever. He can’t imagine his life without the silverette. 

After some time, he finally calmed down, sniffling and rubbing at his face with his little fist. “Th…thank you, Riku…”
