And so he did just that: he let his members take it all in.

And another thing too that speaks to his quiet leadership is that he looked at his members to gauge who was ready to talk, saw immediately that Shuaibo was in no shape to start talking, and decided that the talk should start with Daisuke—the youngest who is more emotionally strong than most people give him credit for.

Steven, more than anything, leads AHOF with empathy. That’s his guiding force when it comes to being a leader.
