Gaming is truly cooked. I really don't game as much as I use to. But as a hobby theirs quite a few of reasons to stray away. Especially if you're a console player, geniune single player story based games are trash or non existent and everything being a battle royal or party game which sucks when you don't have friends. Not to mention the rehashing of the same flavor of game, to them being riddled with microtransactions as well as releasing whole incomplete games just to sell you extra DLC packs and season passes.

Even the fact you'd expect since they're doing away with physical media it should makes games cheaper right?? However I'd be lying if i said when I saw Black Ops 1 and 2 ports was dropping for PS4/PS5 I wasn't low key a little hyped.

Those was some of my best gaming sessions I had back in the day. But realizing the ports cost more now than what I paid brand new out or the case. On top of needing Playstation plus online membership. To get a subpar experience in comparison. When I still have both games on PS3. I'd need on the cheaper end a minimum of $120. But honestly it's not really about the money. It's just a sad cash grab and even sadder time being a semi moderate to casual gamer.
