a tiny mushroom-shaped ripe puerh tuocha from 1995. i have to respect a tea that's three years my senior. i gave it two rinses to be safe, then got from it many steeps with a rich, earthy, camphor aroma; no bitterness and no off smell or taste despite its age. it's up there with my favourite shous, though the medicinal flavour might not be everyone's cup of tea.
