Shin G is the definition of a classic film reborn for a modern audience. I fear the recent success of G-1 will make Toho settle into safer territory. My hopes is that they keep passing the reigns off to new creators to make something absolutely bugshit crazy. Until they, you can never bin the shin‼️‼️

all of my favorite Godzilla media are the ones where toho lets them get W E I R D with it. Godzilla vs Hedorah, Shin Godzilla, and even the Half Century War and Godzilla in Hell comics. i even enjoyed the weird ass netflix anime they did (Not Godzilla Earth that series sucked balls) so i agree im gonna be so bummed if the next 5-10 years are nothing but traditional Godzilla fare. you can never bin the shin baby
