"That's a plus." Chiara nodded, smile evident in her words. "I don't mind being active; makes me feel a little less bad for the carbs I consume on a regular basis." she added. From what she could tell the other agreed. She watched as the other grabbed a cannoli, the largest one that Chiara could see but also the one that she'd ironically been eyeballing, listening as the answer to Chiara's question seemed to be forming in the other's mind. "I do love lemon dishes." she stated. "In savory or in desserts." she nodded, agreeing with the other's words. She waited, realizing she'd asked a lot of questions at once. "If you think we could maybe work something out, I'd love to promote local." she stated. "We're looking to make some changes maybe soon, so it doesn't have to be tomorrow, but something I'd be interested in in the future for sure." @hazalxalpman
Hazal laughed softly, knowing what the woman meant. For as much time Hazal spent in the kitchen, she was guilty of consuming her sweets. Someone had to taste test to make sure that she wasn't feeding Kismet Harbor shit sweet treats. "Of course," she nodded her head, "collaboration takes time." Hazal smiled warmly in her direction. "But I do think it would be great to have more connections within Kismet Harbor. Not that I don't love seeing a line out the door, but we can work something out, maybe even have rotating desserts or desserts paired with specific meals." The brunette was just rambling now. "Regardless," she kept her smile, I'm looking forward to it." @chiaravitale
chiaravitale: Celebrated turning 44 taking my girl to the beach, soaking up some sunshine. It was a nice day being celebrated and I'm thankful for everyone that reached out. #tiamo
🎂 CHARACTER BIRTHDAY TEMPLATE 🎂
NAME: Chiara Vitale
AGE: 44
YEAR: 2026
🕯️ THEN (Last Year / Previous Birthday)
Where they are currently: Chiara was standing in the middle of a life she had returned to out of obligation, not because she was ready. Back in Kismet Harbor, she was carrying the weight of Villa Vitale, her father’s declining health, and the return of her brother. She had spent years building a life where she could breathe, and suddenly found herself back in the place where every room held memories, expectations, and grief.
Emotional state: Exhausted, grieving, and quietly unraveling. Chiara was still functioning—because she always functions—but beneath that was someone who had spent her entire life being the person everyone else could rely on. She was struggling to separate love from responsibility and sacrifice from identity.
Key situation(s): She had left behind six years of stability with Franny in Vancouver to come home and save what remained of her family’s legacy. What was supposed to be temporary distance became a permanent fracture. She was navigating the loss of her relationship, her father’s illness, the failing restaurant, and the unresolved emotions surrounding her family.
One defining detail: She was beginning to realize that being needed was not the same thing as being loved.
🎉 NOW (This Birthday)
Where they are currently: Chiara is still in Kismet Harbor, still fighting for Villa Vitale, but she is no longer the same woman who came back believing she had to carry everything alone. She is a daughter, a sister, and someone trying to rediscover who she is outside of being the person who saves everyone else.
What’s changed externally: The restaurant is still a challenge, her father’s health remains a concern, the loss of her older sister sent the family grieving again, and her family still needs her—but the cracks in the foundation have become impossible to ignore. She is beginning to make room for difficult conversations, shared responsibility, and the possibility that Villa Vitale does not have to survive only because she sacrifices herself for it.
What’s changed internally (if they notice it or not): Chiara is learning that she can love people without carrying every burden they place down. For the first time in years, she is confronting the difference between loyalty and losing herself. She is still deeply compassionate, still the person who shows up—but she is beginning to believe that she deserves to be shown up for, too.
Current emotional tone: Hopeful, but fragile. Tired, but no longer completely lost. She is still surrounded by responsibility, but there is a small part of her beginning to wonder what her life could look like if she chose herself as often as she chooses everyone else.
🧠 WHAT CHANGED WITHOUT THEM NOTICING
She stopped confusing exhaustion with purpose.
She started letting other people carry pieces of the weight instead of automatically taking everything herself.
She began understanding that Villa Vitale is a legacy—not a punishment.
She realized grief had shaped her life, but it did not have to define the rest of it.
She started becoming someone who could receive love instead of only giving it.
🧩 SYMBOL OBJECT OF THE YEAR
Object: An old recipe card from Villa Vitale, worn at the edges from years of being handled.
Meaning: A reminder that the things she inherited were never just responsibilities. They were memories, love, and proof that her family built something beautiful—not because one person carried it alone, but because people showed up for each other.
🎈 ONE THING THEY WOULDN’T SAY OUT LOUD
“I spent so much of my life making sure everyone else had somewhere to belong… I’m still learning that I deserve one, too.”
🎊 OPTIONAL NOTES (for extra flavor)
Who showed up: Her father, Veni, Celina, familiar faces connected to Villa Vitale, old friends in Kismet Harbor, and the people who have slowly reminded Chiara she is more than what she can provide.
What the day looked like: A small celebration she insisted wasn’t necessary. Food prepared almost entirely by her because she struggles to let others take over. Familiar laughter in the restaurant. Moments where she catches herself enjoying the life she has instead of only worrying about fixing it.
Unexpected moment: Someone does something kind for her without asking for anything in return, and she doesn’t immediately try to repay it or minimize it.
Something that almost happened: Chiara almost spent the entire day working, convincing herself birthdays were less important than keeping everything running. Instead, she lets herself sit down, accept the attention, and remember she is a person—not just the person everyone depends on.
The need to step back at times and take time for herself was advice Zeynep readily gave, but rarely took for herself. She was glad that Chiara had listened, though, and could tell that it had been a much needed push for the woman. "Good. I do tend to give rather excellent advice and I love hearing people tell me I was right," she answered back with a twist of a smile at her lips. "I'm glad you took the time, though. Genuinely, it did seem like you needed it. As do we all." The mental note to try to follow through with it herself was one that would, as usual, go unresolved. Other than her time spent on the ice, Zeynep's world was simply too busy to take much time for herself. Keeping an eye as Chiara laced up her skates, Zeynep made sure they looked properly done, tugging on them a bit before giving a nod of approval. "That feels like a warning that you're going to need a lot of extra help," she teased as they got up to head over to the ice officially. Taking her blade guards off, she tossed them back to the side before easing back onto the ice, seamlessly sliding back a few inches to leave space for Chiara to join her on the ice. Her arm lifted to hold a hand out for Chiara, the action one that brought an uncharacteristic hesitation out of Zeynep when the thought struck that she wouldn't mind taking the other woman's hand. As quickly as the thought came, it was pushed aside, locked away to process later. "Right - ah. If you feel like you're going to fall, try to fall to the side, get low and aim for your hip. You can hold on for as long as you need to until you get your feet underneath you."
"Who doesn't like to be told they're right from time to time?" Chiara laughed, though, the tone was light and playful. She too liked being told that she were right, but she'd let the other have this one; she had been right after all. "You were, and I appreciate you giving me a reason to leave the restaurant for the afternoon." The words slipped off her tongue in a slightly flirtatious manor. Though for the most part Chiara was merely just thankful to be spending this time doing something new. The tug of her shoes confirming they were in fact tight enough made Chiara exhale, her eyes widening as the other lead her to the ice, her blade guards removed as Chiara exhaled shakily. She didn't know why but she was nervous. More nervous than she was for most things in life these days, and she wasn't sure if it was the fact she were older so the knowledge if she fell it would stick with her for days or if it was the fact she was about to experience something new with this gorgeous woman. A thought she hadn't had in a long time, but one she definitely wasn't going to act on. So instead she swallowed, hard enough to settle the nerves and the thoughts running through her mind as the other extended a hand, one which Chiara took willingly. There was nothing more to it; the other was simply holding a hand for the other to hold onto until she was comfortable letting go, which confirmed a moment later. "Okay." Chiara acknowledged, feeling wobbly the moment her feet were on the ice. She felt like she might fall, and she let go, but only for a second before she felt herself jolt forward, her feet nearly moving out from underneath her which she then used as an opportunity to lean forward, reaching for the other's hand. "How long does it take to get used to this?" @zeynepaslan
"Oh, yeah, she is." Johnny, admittedly, had not had any problems with the young woman. He just thought it was the easiest way to connect the two. "Honestly, I get that. I was never good any sort of schooling. I was good enough to keep my grades up for football." In which he would and always had given Stevie credit for the knowledge to keep the grades at a passing level. "I think, harder. You can tell they don't really put a lot of effort into it. Though," he let out a soft chuckle, "the ones that need the class and want to be there tend to put in so much work the papers are twice as long. I had to start putting a cap on how long they were." He said with a shake of his head, though he were smiling still. His expression softened with Chiara's words, "I'm sorry. That can't be easy. Determination can go along way, though. I have faith." Not that he'd consider himself a religious man, but he knew that when someone set their mind to it and had the backings of people in Kismet Harbor, it could go a long way. @chiaravitale
"Good." Chiara laughed, though, at this point her niece was an adult. Despite her promise to her sister that she'd care for her, Chiara couldn't control every aspect of the girl's life. Truthfully any of it; all she could do was do her best to make sure Celina was always fed and had shoulders to lean on on her harder days. Instead, though, she listened, taking in the words he was saying about the ones that barely put effort into their papers and how that was hard. "I can imagine it would be." she stated. "I feel as if sometimes having no passion makes it hard to accomplish things." she nodded. "Which does make sense, I don't necessarily find myself putting my all into things I don't care about." she shrugged, eyes focusing on the other. "Those long papers though I bet were at least fun to read, even if they were just naturally longer." she laughed. As he apologized, though, she exhaled, shrugging. "Thank you, but it's not your fault." she added. It wasn't really anyone's fault; sometimes businesses ran their course naturally. "I'm trying to find that faith again myself." she nodded. "So if you have any to spare send it my way." @johnnyxwagner

Hazal laughed softly at the woman's words, "Honestly, I spend so much time on my feet, too that working with the sweets tends to get walked off as well." Which she were grateful for. It could easily become a problem otherwise. "Oh my favorite," Hazal hummed thoughtfully to herself, a temporary distraction following at Chiara's words. "They are," she nodded her head, busying herself with getting the woman cannoli's while she thought. "Lemon tarts are my favorite desert as a whole but I do also love Baklava. I have my grandmother's recipe." She finally answered, pausing once more at the other's question. "Oh," she thinned her lips for a beat, "honestly, I think that would be easy enough to do. I'm not the owner, but I know her well." They'd been working together for many years now. We are all about cross collaboration. We could probably even work on some pastries that are exclusive to your restaurant." @chiaravitale
"Of course, please, take a seat." Usually Simon would be there alongside him, but as he was running the Australia division of HCP, he was running HBC on his own. Not something he couldn't handle, but it was certainly an adjustment. He listened as she spoke, not having the heart to tell her that none of that was necessary for he would have his people look into her finances later on regardless. All a necessary step of the progress. "Thank you, the number is definitely helpful. Can my assistent get you something to drink?" He asked her, wanting to make sure she was comfortable before they would get into it. "Yes, there's a Thai restaurant that's bought us out just last year that we helped get back on its feet. Last they told us, they're still in the green and making profits. There's also a vineyard, a clothing boutique." A quick look in the room of commerce would show her which ones he was talking about, but due to privacy he couldn't give her company names. "So, what's been the final push that made you consider this step?" @chiaravitale
As the other stated that having a number was nice, Chiara felt herself release a breath of air that she didn't know she was holding. She was sure there was some sort of legal stuff on the other's part that would require access to accounts or anything else at all times, but, at least she had done something right, even if she were blissfully unaware that her extra work would be unnecessary. One thing about her, she liked to come prepared. Something her mother had done as well; while she were no long here to help with things, Chiara were thankful to have taken that aspect of her mother's personality that kept all important paperwork in a specific spot or two. At his question about a drink, Chiara nodded. "Actually water would be great." she nodded her thank you before she let her attention shift to the next topic. "I just-" she paused. "I've tried everything I know to do." she stated. "My brother's given money that he makes from his job, I've done fundraisers, changed our hours so we're open less and bills are cheaper." she paused. "I'm fresh out of options and if things keep going the way they are we're going to have to close the doors and I don't think I'm ready to see a staple for my family go just yet." @julianxhawthorne
Her lips stayed turned up in a soft smile as Chiara spoke, head bobbing once. "Good to know there's at least one thing that can get you out of there," she hummed back. Zey knew what it was like to dedicate too much time and energy to working, so she could very easily imagine how exhausted Chiara had to be much of the time. Even if skating wasn't her thing, it was at least a way to take her mind out of the restaurant for a brief moment. Coming back off the ice, she locked her guards into place on her skates and moved over towards the bench to help Chiara with her skates. "Not much different. You'll tie them up a bit tighter than you'd do for shoes, make sure your heel is secured in at the back of the skate. Then, see the little hooks at the top here? You'll lace over and down on them to lock that into place." She demonstrated a few times on her own skates to show the pattern, tucking her laces back into place when she was done. "I'm pretty sure I learned how to lace up skates before I learned to tie a normal shoe. Did you do any sports growing up?"
Chiara let her smile widen at the other's words, and though she refrained from saying it out loud, she found herself whispering a 'anything for you' in her mind. There were few things she felt were good enough reasons to put her duties at the restaurant on the back burner, but, she'd been trying to give herself some grace. She couldn't help anyone or anything if she wasn't helping herself first and she needed that. Plus, she'd not deny herself the comfort of Zeynep's company as it had become some she'd looked forward to recently. "We can all use a break every now and then, you were right." she nodded. "I need to be better about putting myself first; you just happened to push me in that direction." she admitted, smile growing. "I also will never say no to a reason to try something new." she added, reminding the other that she was not familiar with ice skating in the slightest and hoped that the other would go easy on her, at least in the beginning. As the brunette approached, taking a seat next to Chiara to show her how to lace up her own skates, Chiara watched closely, practicing each step as the other did it until she was able to fully lace up her skates herself; tightly, just as the other asked if she did any sports growing up. "I played volleyball throughout most of high school." she nodded. "And I was a pretty good swimmer, but, I never did that competitively. Only volleyball." she admitted. "And you'll probably be shocked to know I was actually quite bad at it." @zeynepaslan
Her aunts' hugs over the couple of months always made her feel at least a little better. Honestly, she wouldn't know if she would be doing this well without her maternal family as a whole. "Whatever I want, huh?" Celina laughed through her tears slightly. She knew exactly what her aunt meant, but this was more of a tease. Celina knew that they couldn't stay in the office for much longer. The world, the restaurant needed them. "I can go over after my shift, and we can all make it together?" Celina posed it as a question, but really, Celina was over there pretty often. "Maybe." Celina started and paused, choosing her words in English carefully as she spoke. "I can bring Romey and stay over with you and Nonno? We can try to find the videos too." Sometimes, on hard days, it was being in the same home as her family that helped her get through it. "You know I'm his favorite, right?" Celina, more so now, said as a tease. Celina had always been close to her Nonno; they visited him all the time as a child, and her grandparents came to them when they were able. @chiaravitale
"Qualunque cosa." she confirmed, nodding as her arms tightened around her niece. There were little things in her life that Chiara cared passionately about; the restaurant and her family were just the top of that list. Not that she cared less about anything else - she was an empath at heart - but those things; her family and the restaurant always took precedent in her list of priorities. "You know he'd love that." Chiara nodded. "Any chance Nonno can have with you he'll take, no questions asked." she nodded. Though, as Celina admitted that she was the favorite, Chiara let herself laugh. "I know you are." she admitted. "I accepted that I wasn't his favorite anymore a long time ago." @celinabianchi
"It is great to have a connection with them. I think I know your niece?" Johnny questioned, taking an assumption. "Celina." He offered the young girl's name from the classes. "Oh yeah." Johnny nodded his head to her question. "Biology is one of those core classes that everyone has to take for their degree, or so it seems like." He chuckled softly, "But yeah, you can usually tell which ones are just in the class because someone said they had to be versus the ones that are taking the class as part of their degree but because it's something they're interested in." Johnny explained to her with a shake of his head. It, however, didn't bother him. He'd never been the best of students himself. His smile fell as she spoke of the restaurant. "I'm sorry, Chiara." He thinned his lips with the thought. "It's a fantastic place, but I'm sure it's not easy to revive." @chiaravitale
"Yes?" she paused, eyes focusing on the other as he mentioned knowing her niece. She was half expecting her to niece to have been causing trouble - not that it would've made any sense to Chiara for that to be the case - but she wanted to know if there was an issue so she could talk to her niece. "Yeah, Celina." she smiled. "She doing okay?" she paused, not wanting to be nosey, but, wanting to check that she didn't need to step in. She'd made a promise to her sister Alessia that she'd always look after Celina, and now that Alessia wasn't here she felt even more so that she needed to follow through with that promise. "I remember taking Biology in college myself; I was awful at it." she laughed. "I was much more into the business side of things." she admitted. "Do you find it harder to grade the papers of the ones that are only there because they have to be? Or the opposite?" she paused, looking at the other. It was only once he apologized that she let herself shrug. "Thank you." she sighed. "It's not been. I'm determined, but, I feel like we're getting farther and farther away from that." @johnnyxwagner

"What a relief." Chiara smiled, nodding her head in the other's direction. She'd been hesitant to sign up for this, however, so far she had to say she was a little more pleasantly surprised by the turn out than she'd had so far. That surprise only turned to relaxation when she saw it was Dae-Hyun sitting on the other side of the table. "Oh hey." she smiled, accent a little thicker as she was excited it was a familiar face. "It's nice to see you out here, and I won't lie it is comforting too." she laughed. "How have you been?" Though she paused. "I don't know if that's a speed dating appropriate question. What do you do when you already know the person?" @daehyunxkwon
"When I signed up for this, I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. Having you here definitely makes the whole thing feel less intimidating." reaching up absentmindedly, turning one of the rings hanging from the necklace beneath his shirt he let out a breath. "I think speed dating rules become a little flexible when you've already met the person, so.. I've been doing alright. Work keeps me busy, the garden keeps me grounded, and Sam makes sure life never gets too quiet." A small chuckle followed. "I'd call that a fairly balanced way of life." He wasn't sure if Chiara was aware of Sam's current situation. He didn't want to draw too much attention to his brother, wanting to prevent a possible 'how are you' or 'it will get better' if they were to run into one another at some point. "What about you? Have you survived all of this?" he asked, gesturing around the room. "Though, if we're supposed to be treating this like a proper speed date, I suppose I should ask a more traditional question." He hummed, leaning forward slightly, resting his forearms on the table. "Tell me something about yourself that most people here wouldn't know." He asked, a smile curling his lips. "Since asking your favourite colour feels a little redundant at this point." @chiaravitale
"Of course you can." Hazal said with a nod of her head. A warm smile rested on her lips as she slipped into a pair of gloves and got a small container for the woman. "I have that happen to me a lot, honestly." Hazal admitted with a laugh, "I cannot tell you the number of times that I've made something and have to put it in the case before I can eat it all in the back." She laughed with a shake of her head as she moved down to the register. "Is there anything else I can get you? You're the only one in here so consider yourself the VIP guest." @chiaravitale
"I couldn't work here." Chiara laughed, shaking her head. "Granted, working with Italian food isn't a whole lot different." she admitted with a shrug. "I eat mostly pasta most of the week, but, thankfully I get so busy with life in general it's easy to walk it off." she admitted, a shrug. But sweets? That was really her weakness and if she worked here she would likely be fired for never saving anything for the customers. "What is your favorite treat that you guys make? Seasonal or regular?" she paused. Though when the other said that she was the only one in the place, Chiara smiled a little wider, taking a step closer to the display case, and nodding. "Are those cannoli's?" she paused. "Could I get some?" she added. "And also, what would a girl need to do to support the local bakery and sell their baked goods at her Italian restaurant on a semi regular basis?" @hazalxalpman
He laughed, "Ah, much better. Buddy is cute. Isabella suits you." Very classic name for where she was from. He laughed, "That's funny and shows they must really like the name," that they named a dog and child nearly the same name. "They do, and it being in Africa, they get a lot of space and the best care, I think they barely know they are not wild" besides how they got fed. He shook his head, "Oh no," he smiled, "I was giving time, you know, building schools, medical offices, homes... teaching English," he smiled at her. "I did it for about 10 years," he smiled, he really loved it, and he missed that it was over. "But I came back to the states over a year ago now... did some work outside of Kismet and came back here a few months ago" but he was happy to be home. @chiaravitale
"I thought so too." she laughed, shaking her head. "I think I'd be the prettiest Buddy anyone's ever met." she added, a little laughter as she looked at the other. Truthfully she couldn't even say she'd ever met a Buddy that wasn't a furry companion, but, she didn't really have time to think about that at this moment. "Yeah, I'm still not sure why he did it." she shrugged. Maybe it was the fact that Isabella had also been her mother's middle name, and Chiara had been gone at the time that the dog had been adopted by her parents, but, she'd never know for sure. She'd never asked and had no intentions to. Instead, she let herself get lost in the other's story, unable to focus on anything else. "Oh that's wonderful." she smiled, both at the animals having plenty enough room to explore but also at the other's mention of all the things he did while there. "It sounds like one of those jobs that's really rewarding, and I'm happy that you were able to help them out." Yet the conversation was cut short as the bell instructing them to switch spots sounded. "It was great to meet you, Miles. Thank you for being such a genuinely kind human." @milesxvaughn
Through every phase of her life, the ice was one place where Zeynep felt the most herself. There was an ease about her when she was skating that was rare to see in her anywhere else and some of her usual stony demeanor melted away. She'd been skating around the empty rink for a few minutes when she heard footsteps coming up near the entrance and a quick turn had her gliding back towards where Chiara was approaching. "Look at that, she can get time away from the restaurant. I wasn't sure you'd make it," she teased, leaning over against the barrier at the edge of the rink. The shift towards a lighter version of herself was apparent even in just the way she moved on the ice, smile coming easier as she greeted the other woman. "I already got skates set up for you on the bench over here. The rental ones they have here are not good enough, so, these should suit better. Do you know how to lace them or do you need help?"
The teasing tone of Zeynep's voice only made Chiara smile a little wider, nodding as she shrugged slightly. "And turn down the opportunity for a free skating lesson? Never." Chiara added, at this point standing close to the barrier where she was joined by Zeynep a moment later. Her eyes had been focused on Zeynep, an obvious radiance beaming off the brunette as she spoke, somewhat distracting if she were to admit it out loud. It was only when the mention of skates was brought up that Chiara let her gaze shift to the bench in question, a nod breaking the silence. "I appreciate that. And I trust you, if you say they're no good than who am I to question it." she stated. Yet as the question of lacing the shoes came up, she lifted an eyebrow now having positioned herself in front of the ice skates. "Is it different from normal shoes or boots?" she paused. "Because if so, than no, I have no idea how to do this. I'll be honest I've never even tried any skates on." @zeynepaslan

"I can agree to that." Chiara nodded, eyes focusing on the other. She wasn't sure that she'd even say her soulmate existed anymore. She'd been quick to assume she'd find it in Franny when the two of them had dated, but it hadn't worked out and even though Chiara would always think highly of her, she was sure she could confidently say she wasn't her soulmate anymore. "I agree." Chiara nodded. "Getting to know a fresh face in this town is always nice. Though I will say there are way more single people in this town than I thought." Chiara nodded, eyes focusing on the other. "And yes, some of my interactions so far have been just that. Interesting." she nodded. She'd yet to get any good stories, just a lot of introductions, but, she was thankful that she at least had this interaction to look forward to. She knew she wasn't going to be disappointed. At the other's compliment, Chiara found herself smiling a little wider, cheeks flushed. "I definitely will not leave here angry even if that's the best part of the day." @sydneyxvanpersie
Sydney's laughter was soft with Chiara's words. "Honestly, though, right? But also, I guess, not a bad thing. " She supposed having that many more single people meant there were options for both women sitting at the table. Another laugh passed over her lips as Chiara's smile grew wider. "You and me both." Sydney agreed with Chiara, nodding her head along to the words. "You'll have to fill me in on the rest of the evening, and vice versa. I'm sure we will have plenty more stories to share." @chiaravitale
Celina knew that it was a process, that it took time. She was just trying to survive day by day. Most days for her were okay at best. She knew that she was lucky to have her aunt, uncle, and Nonno in her life. If she didn't, she would have more bad days than good. She had wished that she had brought Romeo today. He was always a comfort for her. He could sense the moment she was even slightly upset, and would rest his head on her lap until she felt better. "So che lo farai." Celina was finally able to get out after a long pause. Her maternal family had been, of late, more supportive than her own father. "Possiamo farlo stasera con il nonno?" If anything, she knew after her shift, she would pick up Romeo and head over to spend time with her grandfather. She spent a lot of time with him as of late. As much time as a full-time student could. @chiaravitale
Hearing her niece admit that she knew she'd do whatever was needed, Chiara smiled, wrapping her arms around her in another tight hug, her own way of comforting her without words. Because Chiara knew that words would never help; there was only so much she could say and none of it would bring Alessia back. She was just happy to be the person that Celina could lean on. "Whenever you want." she nodded, offering Celina another small smile before she took a step back, hearing someone calling her name. Holding up a finger, Chiara took a step towards the office door, opening it explaining she'd be there in a second before she returned her attention to her niece. Celina was more important right now; as would any employee in this shape but Celina was family. Blood family. Basically her child at this point. "Nonno wants pasta for dinner again, he'd love your company." she spoke as if reading Celina's mind. @celinabianchi
