In my lore, there is a political system on the Continent called The Sages, which includes seven participants.
An interesting fact is that anyone can become a Sage, regardless of whether they have magical powers or not. Currently, only one member does not possess magical talent because he is a human. Such a recruitment system was established at the dawn of the new state by the Supreme Elder, because he believed that despite the presence or absence of magical powers, everyone can be useful in their field of activity.
There is the current members of the Sages.
Kafriel Althora — The Supreme Elder
The oldest of all the Sages and all the living sorcerers on the Continent because of the curse of immortality that devours his body. Kafriel is the de facto leader of the entire system and the leader of all the other Sages. He is wise, fair, and prudent, but he is unable to appear often because of the curse.
Astaroth Anansi — "The Archivist"
She is the keeper of Archives and also unofficially a clerk at the council. She is interested in mechanics and magic, and often invents something when she locks herself in her Archive. Astarot also does not get along well with colleagues and prefers the company of her inventions and books to live communication.
Morpheus Methuselah Stellur — "The Slumbering One"
Morpheus is the rector of the Academy, as well as the current head of the Stellur family, one of the oldest aristocratic families in the capital. He spends most of his time in a state of drowsiness, which makes him seem the weakest, but one of his achievements is to refine the spell of immersion into lucid dreams in the Realm of Dreams. He is a good teacher, and as the students say, an excellent rector. One of those who represents the "voice of reason".
Petunia D'Oduor — "The Flower Witch"
One of the representatives of the old nobility, Petunia is an exemplary socialite. She loves tea parties, conversations, and is passionate about fashion. However, she is also a very powerful enchantress, whose power lies in flowers — she is the creator of a large greenhouse where not only rare flowers grow, but also her own creations based on flowers. Her greatest genius is the Knights of the Roses, the faithful guardians of her little paradise.
Petunia is a skilled potion maker, and thanks to her knowledge of biology, she is also able to heal. Responsible for the potions branch.
Sylvain Renantial — "The Watchdog"
The commander of the Hounds, the Continent's power structure, is famous not only as the only one without magic on the council, but also as the most loyal enforcer of the law. Silvian is reliable, brave, and represents an exemplary model of a commander who is dedicated to his ideals. Because he is a soldier, he is also very perceptive, and seems to suspect the ulterior motives of his colleagues, however, he has no proof.
Edgar Drosselmeyer — "The Puppeteer"
Once a member of a traveling troupe, he is now one of the most beloved artists of the people. Edgar joined the council young because he dreamed of bringing joy to people, but soon his enthusiasm faded as he faced the system from the inside. He is responsible for holding public events, holidays, festivals, Edgar calls himself the "Emperor of Celebrations", and behind his back his colleagues simply call him a clown. His strange hobby is making dolls, for which he got his nickname.
Peacock von-Blue — "The Gold Gryphon"
The most youngest Sage in council, he got his status after his father's death, and also became a heir of the richest guild in a Continent — The Gryphon Guild. Peacock is an entrepreneur who cares little about other people's problems, he only cares about the fact of how much money he gets for the deal. Such a grip led to the fact that he bought out many small businesses, significantly expanding the power of his guild, which, however, people do not like. He is criticized by the people and among the Sages, but the latter look at him more like a child.
