thinking abt the way since eunyung baek (2) part 4 and onwards in the chapter covers we Always see eunyung baek as a child interacting with others in their present self form... no matter whether it be haejoon or his parents or alone... i can't it anymore. trulky a wonderful way to represent his current state & emphasizing the home part of this arc... like i think it's really well done to evoke sympathy and empathy for him and his situation but also understanding of how his family trauma affects him & his actions... like it's so juicy in relation to his father's claims of him always being like this & a difficult child & so deserving this shit & never letting him go... and so you must feel how far pushed back he must be when you see him holding a bottle against his parents/mocking his mother in bed/whatever... like he truly is a child lashing out in response to what has been done to him... and yet he is still a child when he is cooking for haejoon because as tumultuous as their relationship has been throughout 250 chapters at the end of the day they have tried to be there for each other when shit gets dire... i caaaaant
