For example, the whole car crash scene happened between the Narrator and a mechanic who just "spoke like Tyler", but was just a mechanic who had been in the club for a while. The human sacrifice scene was actually done by the Narrator, not Tyler while the Narrator watched. Both scenes happened but just very differently. Surprisingly enough I feel like Tyler is a bit less present in the book than he is in the movie. The confusion is so well done in the book though.

Also, the fact that the first soap was made with MARLA'S MOM'S FAT?? AND SHE KEEPS BRINGING IT UP ITS SO FUNNY 😭😭 also in the book apparently, she also has Tyler's kiss, which i'm sad they removed in the movie but I don't think they had enough time, and her personality in the movie does not fit someone who'd allow that kind of thing to happen

I'm not fully done with the book yet but I loveee reading the lines that made it in the movie. The "different place, different time, different person" line appears so much later in the book than it does the movie I find that very amusing.

Also, I'm so sad we didn't get to see the beach meeting?? I get why, they were on a nudist beach, but Tyler taking logs to place them in the sand so that when the clock hits exactly the right time, he's sitting in the shadow of a hand? Genius Tyler move.

I miss the Narrator's cancer birthmark :( it's such a funny bit in the book. But then again, the movie would've been 3 hours long if they included every little detail (not that i would've minded but seeing how the film was first recieved I don't think it would've done better had it been longer LOL)
