I'll admit it. I was planning to lean a bit more into the actually making fanart part of this event than I ended up doing, and that's mostly my own fault. I ended up with a bit less fanart, a bit more frenzy. However! Bingo or not, I present to you a list of a few of my personal favourites that I commented on (and the two I made fanart for) in honour of this event!
This is only a small selection - I really hope this event gets repeated and I get a chance to redeem myself by planning this whole thing better (and hopefully there will be fewer external factors throwing wrenches into my plans, either)! And give love to more new and old favourites of mine.

Tokyo Revengers:
Expiration Date of Loyalty by WalkingAroundLostAndConfused Rating: M Pairing: Takemichi/Everyone - A very interesting take on an Omegaverse AU where Takemichi presented as an omega, got caught by original timeline Toman, forced into prostitution, and died - only to travel back in time like in canon and meet the people who are going to cause him so much pain in the future. But he isn't an omega yet, so he decides to make the most out of this situation - and along the way, pretty much everyone ends up falling in love with him. - I can only describe this fic as simultaneously heartbreaking and heartwarming. Takemichi is an oblivious idiot and also dealing with trauma from events that have never happened (but that he believes are inevitable), and everyone adores him so much (without knowing what is wrong with him). Many POV changes really drive that point home. Since pretty much nobody of the main cast has presented yet, the Omegaverse aspects are pretty subtle. - Genuinely one of my favourite fics of all time and it's not even finished yet. The exact flavour of angst I love the most. - Imma stop yapping about it, but I can only recommend you read it if the premise sounds even just slightly interesting to you!
Lines in Sand by Nythtak Rating: T Pairings: Mikey/Takemichi, Draken/Takemichi (both endgame) - Canon divergence where some mechanics about how Takemichi time travels are different, but the main difference is that Mikey very quickly falls head over heels for him and Draken quickly follows suit (to both of their dismay). - Lots of angst and trauma but also Mikey and Draken being the most supportive they can be while pining desperately over Takemichi. - Still in progress (at the point of this post the Valhalla arc is about to kick off) and being updated regularly (not that it matters to me; I'd love it even if it were on permanent hiatus. It's so well written and it really tugs on your heartstrings).
how to become the number 1 guide in Japan without being monopolized by thewritter Rating: M Pairing: Mikey/Takemichi - Hunter/Guide AUs are not usually something I read (and I don't know much about the inner workings of this AU nor where it even comes from), but this fic pulls me along wanting to find out more about how that world works. - Weaves the canon plot in with the AU really well! Also Takemichi gets to be a badass thanks to forbidden time-travel knowledge but he's not ooc. There's balance. And a few well-written OCs to round out the plot. - Idk what I'm even saying anymore, but it's good! Trust me. Give it a read. The prose is amazing. - Still in-progress and let's just say... I think Takemichi is failing the assignment, lmao
Blue Lock:
a rose, by any other name by laylayli Rating: T Pairing: Kaiser/Isagi - AU setting featuring Isagi as a law student with a strong sense of justice and a bit of a hero complex and Kaiser as the morally grey mercenary/vigilante he keeps running into. - Hidden identities, social issues, clashing morals and, most of all, some amazing banter between these two. - I showed this fic to my irl best friend hoping that I could pull her into Blue Lock/Kaisagi along with me, and it worked. I don't think there's a better endorsement than that.
Unfold me, Break Me (Make Loving Me Plausible) by Sepha_Star Rating: E Pairing: Kaiser/Isagi - Isagi starts telling his overeager fans that Kaiser is his boyfriend in order to get them to back off. Kaiser finds out, obviously. - Nice and spicy fic about Isagi's problems with his newfound stardom featuring Kaiser who abuses their new fake dating status to the fullest once he finds out (not being his manipulative self at all, nuh-uh). Also, scary dog privilege.
Pokémon:
Fire, fire by Kell_s Rating: T Characters: Corbeau (and Venipede) - Homeless orphan finds his will to live through almost dying after being bitten by a wild Venipede. Or: Two unwanted creatures recognising each other (and the beginning of a lifelong friendship). - Beautiful fic exploring Corbeau's backstory. Made me feel miserable in the best possible way. Poor bby :( - Hopeful ending, of course - and we know it's all going to be fine (but I'm still crying)
Initial D:
the eternity of our victorious kisses by katsukifatale Rating: T Pairing: Keisuke/Takumi - Short and sweet! Takumi challenging Keisuke to admit his feelings, basically. They kiss. - It's adorable, and this fic does a really good job of portraying the push-and-pull relationship these two have going on and that makes this ship so endearing to me.
Mad Desire by SeaStar720 Rating: E Pairing: Keisuke/Takumi - AU setting: Takumi as a knight and Keisuke as the prince he's sworn to protect... and who is madly in love with him, as it turns out. Not like he made it obvious, or anything. - Funny, cute, heartfelt, and also pretty horny. All in all, a perfect mix :D
To the Moon and Back by Lyonface Rating: E Pairing: Ryousuke/Takumi - Definitely one of the best Ryotaku fics out there, and a beautiful character study on them both. - But also: One of the tags is "Fairly Realistic Horny Teenage Boy Bullshit". That is very accurate. - And the illustrations! Oh, the illustrations. The writing, the art, it's all beautiful. Reading highly recommended. And there's a lot of it, too!
