That said, I hope people realize the culture around cc for The Sims isn't normal and vote with their wallets and attention instead. Reward (and tip!) creators that do things for the love of the game, hobby, and community. -- And ignore those out for profit.

Too many people stay quiet because they’re afraid of losing friendships, opportunities, or access What they don’t realize is that better opportunities, better friends, and more respect exist on the other side of that bridge. The same people who expect you to tolerate disrespect want you to believe you can’t do better without them. That’s the lie.

There will always be new opportunities, new friendships, and people who value you without demanding pieces of your self respect as payment.

One of the hardest forms of self love is accepting that not everyone will understand your decisions, your boundaries, or your growth. Love yourself enough to do what’s right for you anyways. At the end of the day, you know who you are. You know what you want, what you don’t want, what you’ll accept, and what you won’t.

Trust yourself. Listen to yourself. Be gentle with yourself. Be kind to yourself. And no matter what anyone throws your way, never let their disrespect change the kind of person you are. Be better than it, not because they deserve it, but because you deserve the peace that comes with it.
