San CristĂłbal de las Casas, a colonial city in Chiapas

Cathedral of San Cristóbal Mártir
Its construction began in 1528, the original building underwent some transformations and was rebuilt in the seventeenth century, its facade dates from the eighteenth century and is Baroque style with a large decoration based on plant motifs, surrounding niches where you can appreciate the sculptures of San Pedro and San Pablo among other pieces. The interior preserves interesting pieces of art such as the pulpit, a work of the sixteenth century, the altar of the Kings, two beautiful Baroque altarpieces and beautiful paintings with religious themes, without a doubt the cathedral is a place of beauty for the most religious as for admirers of art pieces.
The House of the Jaguar
This is the Na-Bolom Museum, housed in a house from the late nineteenth century, and was founded in 1950 by the Danish archaeologist Frans Blom and the Swiss photographer Gertrude Duby. Currently the place exhibits Mayan pottery and everyday objects of the inhabitants of the Lacandon jungle, each of its 16 rooms is decorated differently with collections of pre-Hispanic crafts, textiles and viceregal art.
Grottos of Rancho Nuevo
This cave that has a length of 10.2 km and a depth of up to 550 meters, can be traversed by means of an illuminated walker that allows to appreciate along incredible 750 meters and capricious figures formed by stalactites and stalagmites with the passage of time. The best season to visit the cave is in the dry season during the months of November to April, although the place is open all year, this geological formation is surrounded by a forest where you can enjoy horseback riding and activities camping and hiking.
Museum of Mayan medicine
Its objective is to spread Tzeltal and Tzotzil healing practices, recreating the uses of traditional medicine, however, the best part is that you can experience true healing of body and soul as in pre-Hispanic rituals or simply enjoy a Temazcal bath in style Maya. Jade Museum
In its rooms you can admire replicas of the most representative pieces of eight Mesoamerican cultures and a collection of Olmec and Mayan pottery, a specialized library, an analysis laboratory, a didactic area and a shop where you can buy this valuable stone that had so much meaning for mother cultures.
