This is my first Rave and Gripe post ✌️ Rave 🤩 Herbana Cosmetics Face Sunscreen SPF50 (You can choose either 30@50 & customizable. Neat right?). This deserves 10 bombastic🌟 & an🥇seriously. I live in Malaysia, which is summer all year round & sunscreen is a must, but before stumbling upon this gem, I can practically count with just my fingers the number of times I apply sunscreen. That’s how much I detest using face sunscreen. But @herbana_natural_cosmetics blew me away & I can’t believe that I’m using this diligently every morning for 3 weeks now. I have normal combination skin & I enjoy layering my skin care products, therefore finding the perfect facial sunscreen that does not break me out & turn me into a greaseball is super important. No coconut oil (yay 💃), no white cast, absorbs really well because it has just the perfect liquid cream kinda texture, no pimples, dries matte (how amazing is that?), beautiful scent of peach & berries (fruit extracts), no greasiness, no sunburns & superb packaging ☀️ This is definitely my holy grail face sunscreen and a repurchase 🌞 Gripe 🤨 @klappersco Second Skin (Light, SPF20). I am all for supporting local businesses but my interest has wane because of major pet peeves: No full ingredients listed and this irks me (It’s tedious that I have to keep messaging to inquire about ingredients). I wanted to like it but I couldn’t because the first thing I notice was the graininess. It’s so grainy and felt abrasive on my face. IMHO, this is a product not well made. I dislike how it felt on my face and I ended up applying it on my arms instead. Other factors were the Virgin Coconut Oil as the main ingredient and packaging. Just a few uses and the words are fading from the label. Sorry that I didn’t like it.

I feel like there’s a layer of something 😂 But for MG Naturals Organic Airbrush Mineral Liquid Foundation SPF25, I love it. It’s light and creamy, very blendable and I adore that pearlescent glow it emits. No glitters whatsoever. I top it off with the Mineral Silk Foundation SPF40+. I just use my fingers to apply the liquid and the brush (super soft bristles, vegan & travel friendly, applies beautifully, no fallouts) for the powder. As you can see, the shade suits my skin tone and it’s like my skin. It’s a little bit (very minute) tacky at first but I think that’s because I applied my facial oils (2 actually) before that but after a while it absorbs and settles beautifully with or w/o powder. I don’t use it for coverage; I use this as my daily sunscreen as this doesn’t contain coconut oil 😃 The Mineral Veil and Illuminator are gorgeous: soft, not powdery, finely milled, not grainy, smells great. No breakouts! This is good news for me. Pics are not filtered or edited. I did not wear any blush. I am rather fair with a naturally rosy complexion. Thanks Kailah for the shades advise. Your makeup is the only one I’m using at the moment. I’ve never been fond of the scent of jasmine but I’m definitely in love @theseedsnatural’s Milky Jasmine soap scent 🌸 It has a very soft, pretty and feminine scent to it. The scents are too delicious for words (think lavender, chamomile & Hawaiian jasmine) and texture is light yet hydrating without being oily. Night Combo: Siren Serum+Mahina Evening Replenishing Elixir - Too perfect for words. Imagine fresh orange 🍊, vanilla and citrus notes. Great for my night ritual as texture is thicker and more hydrating more nighttime. The Toner: Bohemian Ruby Balancing Toner infused with Rose Quartz. I have no words to describe the scent because it's too intoxicating, too precious & too heavenly. Super amazing toner. My skin glows, smooth & flawless from using these products.
