I Sell the Dead: Fun in pubs with friends! Uniquely timed violin solos! Questionable authority figures! Cheeky bastards in shaggy suits! A good night time gig! Rather unique employees of House Murphy! Ron Perlman as a monk! (Say that last one twice!) And... AND?! Zombies! And more!  A rather despicable collection of characters but a darkly humorous period horror comedy. Recommended on a fine foggy or thundery night with wine and good friends.

Say what you want about The Lone Ranger remake, Red Harrington is one of Helena’s more entertaining and uniquely beautiful characters. Not to mention you have to love a woman who sees a potential physical set-back as an eventual asset. Health code violations? "Well this is a house of sin."

Now... what is the movie Hysteria about? Well wonder back to a strange and surreal time when Victorian gentleman sent their wives away to a doctor to help have their bitchiness manually knocked out. In plainer words... that beautiful Victorian place where one invention would lead to the term “Will be mailed to you in discrete packaging.” going along with you buying something that may or may not look like a phallic dolphin chasing a tiny fish but most certainly requirea a couple of batteries.

“It’s alright, I’m a doctor...” was kind of a harsh moment in the movie but... there’s so many places you can go with that sentence when you’re not a giant of a man Watson is taking down. Dear me, I must fan myself now! It’s the mustache!

Yes Mr. Creepy-but-Smarty-Victorian-Pants guy, you don’t get out of being objectified! Even when you’re... um... handling body parts. We’re flexible with the cute. Apparently at times... really flexible.
