Another thing I forgot to mention is, drink more water! I found that incorporating more water into my diet also helped.

It's hard finding people my age who also struggle with eczema, so I couldn't really help others with it. I'm no doctor, but... It's nice conversing with others who also share the same struggles, it makes me feel like I'm not alone in the world.

Yeah I figured dehydration was part of it. But idk, my body sure seems to have an endless supply of fluid to fill those GODDAMN BLISTERS. You’re telling me that making a bajillion little pockets of fluid that merge into a giant pocket of fluid is easier for my skin than just Keeping itself Moisturized?

Seems to me like your body has gotten immunity to the clobetasol. You would need either new medication or a stronger dose, but me personally? My recommendation, best course of action, is to ask your doctor for a different medication.

Based on what you said, perhaps try moisturizing more often and using the clobetasol? If that doesn't help out still, then I recommend asking your dermatologist for a different medication.

Anything different with your foot? Have you worn different shoes? Different material of socks? You said that on your toes they've disappeared for a couple of years and then they came back.

Yeaahhhh my mom's been on my case about going back to the dermatologist. Especially since infections are getting harder to avoid.

But like you said I want to try moisturizing more first. Maybe using Vaseline more often.

I think I had a similar story. I was prescribed some ointment(s) (I need to check my pantry what it is, if you want me to I can tell you them when I get home) at first, and they never really worked for me.

Did you get good results, then they stopped? Or did the clobetasol never worked?

Honestly I've been bad at lotioning myself, afraid to admit. I don't usually wear gloves, for my hands, but weirdly my dyshidrotic eczema only affects my dominant hand. Does your dyshidrotic eczema affect both hands, or only one of them?

I think the results started off really good and its been slowly getting worse. But i was also moisturizing and wearing cotton gloves more consistently back then. I also wasn’t dealing with blisters in such big clumps. They’ve been gathering more on my palms lately, especially the heels (both hands) with smaller clumps on my fingertips. When it first started they were more contained to the sides of my fingers.

And they’ve been like. On and off on my left foot. Had some on my toes in the beginning, then it almost completely disappeared for a couple years, and just this past week i’ve gotten a big clump on the edge of my left foot, and well. My middle toe is why I’m looking to head to urgent care tomorrow.

Hopefully we get hints in like... 4 days

Everything itches. Luckily I have Dupixent and I've been feeling fine since.

Dyshidrotic eczema still causes me problems sometimes, usually I just run my hand under cold water to stop the itching and moisturize it afterwards.

No kidding. I've had eczema my whole life, but rarely had dyshidrosis up until about 4 years ago. Now I'm using clobetasol ointment on a 2 week cycle to manage near constant flare-ups.
