I like. How Timekeeper straight up tells people “I can’t answer that question because it’ll cause unnecessary entropy” and everyone just groans about their riddles and metaphors as if what they said didn't make total sense.

Hhrggggg. So in conclusion.

Generally the cutscenes have been improved. I'd say its like. 70% better and less jarring when comparing the beginning of Timeline of Fate to the end.

Everything outside of the cutscenes, however... There are maybe 2 or 3 lines that struck me as notably better. But most of them feel like downgrades. Why is Timekeeper yelling in my ear? They're a silly little guy, but some of it is almost toooooo silly. More cringe than funny, and I dont use that word lightly. They would not make that noise.

And they.. changed one of the gift lines? Same meaning but with more words.

Ahh Idk. Is it weird to say they sound too happy? They're whimsical, sure. But there's a level of professionalism and control to it, you know? They fuck around a lot, but when push comes to shove they really take their job seriously. They can be serious and even intimidating. But this new direction is sooooo peppy and loud.

I think the last cutscenes in episode one (the ones they didn't change) were perfect. That was the balance of "whimsical" and "grown ass adult with a job to do" that I had hoped for.

Okay it sounds like everything from Nova's first appearance onward is the same (<- listened to the cutscenes on her commute today. And several days before that)

Some are better and some are worse. I dont hate the energy, but now a lot of these ellipsis or "!!!" noises are over-acted.

Okay okay its not so jarring in the cutscenes... okay yes this I can get used to.

#meow.#well its as jarring as going from the end of the update to the beginning before they made the change #but i can handle this.

I'll get used to it I'll get used to it I'll get used to it i haven't even gotten to the CUTSCENES Guhhh I'll get used to it.

That little "ohoho!" was cute I guess.

Ouch. Oh. Oh no. The new "Just in the nick of time!" hurts a lot. I really really liked that one. It was like how Croissant said it in the Twizzly update... sigh.

#meow.#but they did fix the delivery on one of the tap lines so. silver lining i suppose.

I'm scared. I'm going to go home after work and rewatch the timeline of fate cutscenes and its going to be different and I'm going to cry. Fuuuuuuuckkk
