Celeste: i do. its cool.

Celeste: its not abt money. i want to move up, make something of myself. when can you train me? maybe on my next shift?

You don’t? What’s your favorite cookie? I’m not a parent but that kind of makes sense so I am sure it is normal. 

That would have to be a tie between white chocolate macadamia nut and sugar cookies.  It’s very bizarre, I’m usually quite the ladies man but ever since Cali was born she’s sorta my whole world.

Anthony: True, well, I don't want it. I'm too busy. Which by the way, I need the next few weekends off. Going to NY this week and then doing a show with the community theater that is on the 7-16.

Anthony: Oh...okay. I also think Leah would be good, if she wanted it. She's amazing at her job.

Anthony: I'm sure she will.

Anthony: And I hope she does wonderfully, I'm rooting for her.

Anthony: She could though! And be super excited every time you're in the room.

Charlie: We'll see, Hector has had this position lined up for a while.

Anthony: I'm sure Celeste would be amazing too, you can't get experience without experience.

Anthony: Oh? Well, that's great. I'm sure she'd be happy spending more time with her dad.

Charlie: and I'm sure she would too, eventually. We'll see, i have training with her soon so I'll figure it out.

Anthony: Is he up for a new management position?

Charlie: He is. As is Celeste. Hector just has a lot more experience... I feel bad.

Anthony: Hey there...yeah, it was fine. Nothing caught on fire and there was no bar fights.

Celeste: Charlie, did you have a chance to look over that professional letter I gave you?

Celeste: Can you give me manager or not?

Charlie: Sorry I'm late to get back to you, was out all weekend as you know.

It is kind of a guilty pleasure but I love fortune cookies - so much so that I buy them in bulk at the store so I don’t have to continually order Chinese food. Today’s fortune reads: “Romance moves you in a new direction.”. What I have to say to that is…huh? Romance? This girl does not have any romance in the current moment. Lord, help me - the closest I get to romance is binge watching romantic comedies or Hallmark movies (which I do more than you realize). 

I feel you in the romance department... not very fond of the cookies though. Being a dad has me overthink everything now. 

Hey Sanders! Summer camp’s over and I’m back in my house. Mom went HGTV Total Makeover with the place and did a great job with it. Even talked my kid into recording my reaction to the whole thing! It’s on Instagram if any of you want to see it.

I want to get back into the swing of things. Anything happening this weekend?

Saw the vid, it was fantastic! Good to have you back. I was a full-time dad this weekend which was a bit different from my usual weekend shenanigans but it was actually a ton of fun. Hope you found something fun to do.

So I don’t know about the rest of you all, but I was definitely ready for some good news this year. I try to keep things light and happy, but it’s been hard, if I’m being honest. But Friday I had to run practice on my own, head coach was out for a meeting. Turns out that meeting was an interview because he’s moving like halfway across the country or something? Anyway… unofficially say hello to your new head coach of the Sander’s Bay Panthers varsity football team!

Dude! congrats. Thats a big step, proud of you man. 

Thanks dude, I appreciate it! And definitely am gonna take you up on that offer. It was good, people really went outta their way for me which they didn’t have to do. How’s the dad life? 

Awesome! That’s great to hear, man. Dad life is very busy but fun at times. Little Cali is starting to smile and its just about the cutest thing.

Chloe: I will love to meet her! Just let me know and I'll make sure I free some time for it.

Chloe: I was there the other night but you weren't in. 😔 How are you, Charlie?? We haven't talked in so many months!

Charlie: Forsure!

Leah: Could me, Tony and Celeste's band do Tuesdays at Bank?

Leah: Mia Weston is also in the band, if you know her.
