@ejlizzie it was freezing in the lobby of the museum, and from the moment a chill struck him, Charles resented his sister for dragging him here. she could not be here, of course, which explained why he was obligated to be. she had purchased a piece some weeks ago but couldn't plan far enough ahead to approve it in person as was curator policy. fortunately, Charles loved his sister and was not adept enough at lying to refuse her. so here he stood in the icy lobby, waiting.

"yes, I suppose the chaps could do better, but I thoroughly enjoyed the game," Bingley grinned with giddy enthusiasm. he adored days such as these when the party of acquaintances could escape outdoors for a bit of air and, indeed, some sport. he was tempted enough to join in on the next game; however, his ghostly duties must come first as his breeding dictated.
