~ as promised, here’s the action i use. ofc i use reshade, so it’s intended to be an add-on for that, but it can be used without!! it will just give a less intense effect. buT impORTANT:

if you are using the same reshade as me, remove the second vibrance part. (it reduces the vibrance, which is needed w/o as it’s too bright)

if you aren’t using reshade, or another one, remove the first selective colour part. (it increases the green, as the reshade washes it out)

there are lots of extra actions in there, to add white around the edges. ofc you can delete them if you want, but if you want to use them crop the screenshot to a 4:5 ratio, and then run the one you want.

I felt like my game needed a fresh look, so here’s a simple reshade preset that adds more vibrance, color and contrast! 💚

This preset was created with Reshade Version 3.4.1

THE BEANSPROUT PRESET

[dont question the name, idk what it means either]

i wanted a preset that would make everything bright and colourful but was also light on my laptop so i could use it whilst i played, so instead of scouring the internet for hours i just made one myself lol

its super light and doesnt use any of the dof settings, it just brightens everything  up (without whitewashing) and saturates it a little

Summer Pop A Reshade 4.8 Preset

After upgrading to my new PC, I unintentionally started working on a new Reshade preset and came up with this one – a simple, bright and colorful preset suitable for gameplay and designed with black/sims of color in mind. Y'all seemed to really like it when I posted the WIP pictures so I’m sharing it now 😊

“Blogueira”, a reshade preset.

I made this preset a while ago and I can say it´s been total perfection for my gameplays and photos as well. I hope you guys enjoyed as much as I did, cause I basically can´t see my game without it. 

Description:

Blogueira is a vivid and colorful preset that adds a cinematic look to your game.

⭐Doesn´t affect your game hud, so it´s perfect for gameplays. *NOTE: for gameplays, you must deactivate bloom/cinematic dof/mxao (optional).

⭐The bloom/cinematic dof/mxao settings are ideal for photoshoot purposes.

⭐  You can deactivate “edge smooth” on your game config because the preset already smooth edges.

❗You can change the shortcuts by pressing the right button above the chosen setting. After that select the option that allows you to set a shortcut and press the key you want to.

Clear POP! was made as a request by one of my lovely Patreon subscribers, @shoobysims. Their brief was that it be a bright, clear, cool and cheerful preset that made colours bold and punchy, while avoiding overly-saturated oranges and haziness. Their overriding desire was that it made them feel happy!

Clear POP! is a lightweight preset, relying on handmade LUTs that do the majority of the work, and a small handful of additional shader effects to help balance things in certain locations and times of day.

Clear POP! makes use of shaders from a few different places, so for ease of use everything you need is included. Links to the various shader repositories are included in the instructions file should you need to get updates or replacements in the future.

Clear POP! was made using luumia’s No Blu (v2, gameplay version) and No Glo (v2.1). If you don’t use these lighting mods interiors in particular will look different to any of my screenshots, but it should still look okay.

Made with ReShade 4.7 and 4.8.2. Should work with any 4.x version. Installation and usage instructions are included in the download.

PSD #3 by tobiohchan - I promised forever ago to share a resource as a thank you for helping me reach a milestone on my sideblog @resourceanime​ so here it is!

The psd was made specifically for outdoor scenes with a lot of greens and blues, so it’s best used for that!

You may have to modify a little bit as you see fit. For your convenience I’ve labelled which layers you could adjust to help you.

As an extra, you’ll also find in the download folder some colour palettes I made! (I really like making them ok)
