You wouldn't know it from mainstream media, but cis lesbians are the most supportive group of trans people... even more than trans people ourselves!
Media doesn't present reality: it creates it. The moral panic over trans women in queer spaces is a contrived conflict invented to drive our community apart. But our movements are connected at their core, and we are stronger together.
I can't be the only person who when they see fanfics or a comment where they say that Vi of Arcane would be a dirty, silly, even smoker person, gets angry because I think that reduces her character to such a strange and stupid stereotype just because she is a masculine girl.
I honestly think that Vi would not even be a dirty girl, on the contrary I think she would be super clean and even more knowing that she was raised in zaun and then in a prision.
I don't know, it's so strange, I feel like Arcane's fandom doesn't know how to play Vi as a character, they always reduce her to stereotypes (even within the LGBT community) or they also forget that Vi is a girl, only who is masculine
Western journalists feel that there are no consequences for them, so they have started publishing provocative or inhumane statements in this way.
Almost forgot to share this one! Thank you @infernothechaosgod for commissioning me!!

For anybody not caught up: Tennessee just passed a new map that pretty much makes it so black neighborhoods have no power in local votes. Two things about this. While protestors were chanting "No Jim Crow", white Tennessee lawmakers were caught laughing on video. On top of this, Representative Justin Pearson and his brother KeShaun Pearson were arrested for trying to give their takes on the matter (which is not only their legal right but literally his job). If you give a shit about black people, help fight this. We can't allow a return to Jim Crow.
Tainted and Obscura
CeCe Rogers on Facebook writes: "Two Black Tennessee lawmakers were physically escorted out of chambers this week while Republicans quietly held a hearing to approve gerrymandered maps that would eliminate the state's only majority-Black congressional district.
No referendum. No special election. No public vote.
Because they know what happens when voters actually get a say โ just look at Virginia, where the people spoke so loudly that Republicans had to drag the courts in to override them.
This isn't new. During Reconstruction, Black Americans held more congressional seats than at any point in the prior 90 years of American history. And white supremacists spent the next several decades tearing that down, through gerrymandering, poll taxes, and voter intimidation.
150 years later, the same tools. Different suits.
The audacity of escorting Black lawmakers out of their own chambers while dismantling Black political representation, and then telling us the courts aren't political, is breathtaking. These are the same courts they're counting on to make it stick.
This is a coordinated, multi-front assault on Black Americans. And we need to say it exactly that plainly."
Reminder, if you ever pay someone for a commission on Paypal (NSFW OR NOT) you SHUT THE FUCK UP in any text box it gives you.
(No this does not mean try to be a snarky comedian and say it was "bomb materials" or "fuck u" or whatever. Don't play with people's livelihoods, just shut the fuck up and don't type anything at all, it's not that hard.)
I am so tired bro but I needed to draw something stupid so I didnโt go insane.
Extra stupidity:

Let's dance with papa hehehe
Do not forget that discord is still planning on moving forward with age verification and has only "delayed it" until "the later half of 2026." They are hoping you will forget while they quietly roll it out when no one is looking. Continue to message them about it. Continue to talk about it. Make it clear this is unacceptable. Discord is one of the only places left you can even talk about or share adult content in private at scale anymore. They will tell you "its not that bad if you dont use it for nsfw" but fuck them and fuck people who say that shit.
The amazing digital circus controversy - condensed
The voice actors have acknowledged that they were in the wrong and properly apologised. Therefore, it's not a "nothing burger" or "not that deep"
Both choosing to accept the apology or not accepting the apology are valid.
Acting like Gossworks (a trans woman) is a nazi because of shitty edgy jokes on Twitter is over the line.
They were being racist. They apologised (They ACTUALLY apologised unlike most people on the Internet) what more cam they do other than move on.
Telling black people how to feel IS racist.
Sending gore to either side is disgusting. Obviously.
Not everything is all or nothing. Someone doesn't need to be a saint for you to support them, and they're not Hitler incarnate if they're not.
If anyone brings up Hazbin Hotel in a controversy not about Hazbin Hotel one more time I will fucking lose it.
I hate Twitter.
As if the drama couldn't get any worseโฆ

Note that Plainrock is the main guy screaming "nega" at the event. As you can see from the second picture, he was able to return scot-free somehow.
Regarding the Michael Kovach situation, I'm not black but as a Middle Eastern woman I figured I would toss my own two cents here
I think people are allowed to feel shocked and upset, I mean I would be if I found out a celebrity I liked made a misogynistic or racist joke at my community's expense. I don't think telling black people they're being dramatic is a productive thing to do.
However, I also want to remind some people that these VAs are not your friends, and you really really need to stop treating them as if they are. Both to the people defending Michael relentlessly as if he isn't a grown ass man, AND to the people harassing him like it wasn't a clip from almost a decade ago.
I understand feeling disappointed, but you have to treat this situation the same way you'd treat a coworker whom you found out something similar about recently. It's your choice whether you want to choose to continue supporting this series and other things featuring Michael or not, just like how it would be your choice to continue working for that company or not.
You cannot change anybody, but you also cannot expect people to be perfect.
To me, it sucks, but ultimately this is something that you have to decide based on your own morals and feelings because at the end of the day, Michael has been vocally and explicitly pro BLM and pro abolishing ICE and he has owned up and taken accountability of his actions. There really is nothing more he can do than that, so it's up to you whether you want to support him and the people affiliated with him or to walk away.
I think it's good to call out these things when we can, but we should also be fair while we do. Vocally harassing other people who hold different feelings than you isn't productive, unless they're genuinely being a racist asshat which I've seen a lot of people being. I don't care about bigoted people's feelings, but I do care about the feelings of people trying their genuine best to be good people.
EDIT3: Additionally, harassing black fans and black people who are hurt by this is just plainly racism. Calling people out on harmful actions is not a bad thing to do and you cannot tell someone that they're wrong for feeling hurt ESPECIALLY if you're white and they're black. Black people are entitled to their own feelings and if they want to say "I don't want to support this guy anymore" even after seeing everything, it should be left at that. Put simply, it's not white people's place to say whether or not black people should still be supporting him or TADC or any projects he's in. If you're not black, forgiveness isn't in your hands. You can only determine by yourself whether or not you still want to engage with TADC.
So far I haven't seen anyone harass people who still enjoy TADC (except trolls) so I don't think that's an important point to bring up
And I think having a good understanding of your own personal boundaries is one of the most important tools you can have at your disposal. You can always utilize the block button, blocking people isn't a cowardly thing to do.
Black people feel free to weigh in and let me know if I said anything that could be read as offensive or wrong! I try my best to be clear with my wording but I'm not very good at getting my point across sometimes
EDIT: I'm also gonna add that I don't really give a shit about Michael's reputation because again, he's not my friend, I'm not going to pretend like whatever happens to him is my business to deal with. He's a grown man, he can deal with his issues himself. I don't forgive nor do I not forgive him because I don't think that's my battle to fight. The only reason I care about how he handled it is because I don't want to keep supporting people who are CURRENTLY pieces of garbage, which to my knowledge Michael hasn't been.

Just want to state since im a TADC fan and make fanart for the show, if you are a white person and are calling the whole situation a "nothing burger", do not interact with me.
Its not okay to put other people down for feeling hurt, angry, and betrayed, if this were any other thing like saying Faggot or Tranny, you guys would be all up on their ass for Homophobia and Transphobia.
White people have killed, raped, eaten, and put black people through slavery and used the N word as a way to further dehumanize them.
For Michael and Ashley to think "almost" saying a word like that is funny, is concerning and very off putting.
And since I am a white person myself, im not going to tell you how to feel other than that.
All i want you to do, is listen to the black people in the community, trust me, it is not that hard.
So god damn disappointing.
sorry not sorry but i dont find saying words that sound like slurs of groups u are NOT apart of funny. also not sorry, but if youre not black you shouldnt even be THINKING of the words "forgive" or "years ago" in this situation. and no just cus one black person you saw once and never engaged with or spoke to further said they didnt care doesnt mean that suddenly you can go around shouting every other black voices down. sorry but no amount of time passed changes an action or what that action represented and by those milk toast apologies they posted, i personally dont think it meant anything other then a "pls dont yell at us we're sorry you found out about that ):>" posts. im tired of white ppl being desperate to say the n word. and doing this "im not touching you" shit when it comes to slurs yall can sit here and tell when someone types "keys" in a chatroom that theyre being hateful and telling ppl to "kys". so keep that same energy when it comes to black ppl and slurs directed to them.
