She is a skilled and accomplished emergency medicine doctor with diverse experiences who had to overcome these challenges while being an immigrant woman of colour - needing to continuously prove herself. Later a single parent.

She recognised her health concerns. She called her neurologist both at her previous institution and now at the current one to make a care plan. That is a good and sound care plan.
