“communication is key” i say, as i ghost all the people i care about because i cannot express my feelings due to trauma

its so awesome that everything good that happens to me has to be followed by immense suffering of some kind every single time

The older you get, the more you realize it's not about who knows the longest. it's about who makes you feel seen, heard, understood, appreciated, supported and loved.

i will find my people. i will feel loved again.

Normalize not forcing connections with people. If somebody doesn't see the value in having you by their side, don’t try to convince them.

This is for the people who didn’t party in their teens and twenties. For the people who didn’t have that “coming of age” movie experience with shenanigans and revelations. This is for the people who mostly keep to themselves. Who maybe prefer things to be quieter and gentler. This is for the people who don’t feel like they belong in a culture that values loud parties and flashing lights. I see you. And you are valid.

Why do I always have to dream about something traumatic?? My friends get to dream about anime characters and random stupid situations that don't make sense, and I have to dream about something that reminds me how fucked up I am and makes me wish I could buy new skin.

Life is so stress free without certain people. And my eyes r like open.. like this is how it should be.. yeah i will come across unsavoury ppl in my life and i can deal w that. But ppl in my close circle shouldnt be unpleasant to deal with…. I love being aware and creating a good life for me cos i deserve it :)

Grief is the only proof that I love and I love well. Love and grief are actually intertwined with each other and as "Akif Kichloo" once wrote, "the opposite of grief is not laughter or happiness or joy. It is love. It is love. It is love."
