It's been a few days since I completed 5.1, and as I've had time to reflect, I realized why Natlan didn't impact me the way previous regions did. My friends and I also discussed what it could be that simply doesn't convey the feeling or make us feel the weight of the story.

Someone mentioned before that Natlan feels too modern. This ties into what we figured out: Natlan falls short in terms of visual representation.

When they tried to revive Kachina,

when Chasca broke down because of her sister,

when the war started,

and when the Traveller said, "This is war,"

those scenes should have been cutscenes.

It would have delivered the depth of the scene much more strongly and effectively, because let's be honest, with the game's graphics, the basic expressionless faces 😐, and the choppy motion animations, these scenes don't hit as hard as they would in a cutscene. I wouldn't mind if they were short, but what bothers me is that we jump into battle from one moment to the next, with the sun shining brightly 🌞, cheerful music playing in the background 🐤🚵, and I'm sitting on a balloon that's floating at a snail's pace 🐌. If it had been a slowly flying dragon, it would have been far more impactful—after all, in the Mondstadt Archon quest, we were riding on Dvalin’s back. 🐉

Another point where the whole thing fell apart for me is that I feel there’s no logical connection between the country’s situation and the environment.

Theoretically, in a nation where constant battles are raging against the Abyss, shouldn’t there be a specific area with a security wall that offers everyone shelter from the monsters?

Shouldn't there be military bases or patrols on the roads?

Shouldn't dragons be armed against the monsters? Shouldn't there be border guards?

And in the gameplay, shouldn't there have been gameplay elements (since we're soldiers) where we have to sneak, defend an area, or—given there was an event where we could control monsters and assemble our own "army" 💪—shouldn’t that have been incorporated into the fight against the Abyss somehow?

Because, for example, the death-count board didn’t make much sense, as you couldn’t really make any significant changes to it. 🤔

In my theory, Aether is the traveler because I play with him. Sorry if this confuses you:

The Bedtime Quest gave me the last piece of the puzzle. Now I understand why Aether and Lumine can't be together.

When they tried to leave the world, their fate was sealed. Only one of them can be present at a time. Lumine searched for her brother for 500 years but couldn't find him. When she reached the flower sea, she sacrificed herself to become the Loom of Fate, just like Caribert.

This “memory Lumine” became the part of Teyvat, because the real Lumine isn't present. The Loom of Fate actually changes the ley lines by writing herself into the past.

Aether woke up and found that The Lumine he was searching for wasn't there. Instead, he found someone who had become part of the world and saw Dain as an enemy. Dain stayed silent about what happened. The reason that why Aether can't be with his sister is that: in the end, they have to switch places. So Lumine can experience the adventure (with Paimon). (Like people who choose Lumine at the start of the game know that the sibling will experience those adventures too.)

The solution is for someone to switch places with Aether so they can travel together in the past as if they were always together.

This could be Paimon or Dain. But if we listen to the trailer, it's likely Dain. He says: Defeat me, command me to step aside, show me that you are worthier than I to rescue her. Then, the threads of all fate will be yours to re-weave. M y memory has all but faded completely... But I will always remember how much she too, loved these flowers. -This means Dain will give up his place, and his memories with our sibling will be erased. But the siblings will be together and will fight together against Celestia.

I thought a lot about who I would take with me on a world trip. We need expertise, experience, someone to speak for us, someone with a good knowledge of the place, and someone to entertain us on the way 😁 I feel it would be an unforgettable adventure 😂

I couldn't wait for his birthday since I just finished with him xD OMG I loved Cyno's 2nd story quest and I loved the cutscene and I love this new little baby wolf and I know I'm going to pull for him 🥰😊My only regret is that he won't be on the 2nd banner. Because of Furina, I would have been willing to wait a little longer Q_Q
