I’m so irked with the historical data collection practices over at HUD, because how am I supposed to analyze ongoing trends in homelessness by age when your only three categories not even five years ago were under 18, 18-24, and over 24? It’s incredibly irresponsible to act like the experiences of a twenty-seven year old living on the streets is the same as a sixty-seven year old’s. Fucking Christ.

i just think it's interesting how all the concerned posting i'm seeing on other websites about political violence is concerned entirely with political violence against the wealthy and powerful and doesn't seem to consider deployment of the national guard to US cities or police repression of protests to be political violence

#all the dumb news pieces about how political violence is not acceptable in the US #like literally not a single day in this country’s life has it not been extremely politically violent
