I'm asthmatic, yet when I was taking swimming lessons I LOVED freediving, I don't know if asthma also affects how much oxygen the lungs can take in, but doesn't it sound contradictory?

Sometimes I have these weird things when I'm tryna sleep and my body kinda thrashes and I kick the air a lot and there's this discomfort on my brain that I don't understand and sometimes it feels like me skin is on fire/covered in bugs

ok so I have the weirdest hair texture in the world. like it is IMPOSSIBLY thick, and takes like a genuine six hours to brush through, and even if i slick it back or use hairspray, I lose the battle every time. and its very strong too, like trying to cut it or tie it or anything is insane. I got a butterfly cut and cut face-framing bangs with layers, and it was not even remotely less thick. I also have curly hair which means if I brush it straight it is the frizziest thing on the planet. So I tell people I’m lactose intolerant but that’s not actually true, what I have is a cow protein allergy. I tell people l’m lactose intolerant because it’s something people are a lot more familiar with and I think telling people allergic to something in milk invokes the wrong images. I’m not going to go into anaphylaxis or break out in hives if I have milk, I have the same symptoms as lactose intolerance. Yet another reason why I tell people I’m lactose intolerant, there’s no difference when it comes to symptoms and treatment of it. Expect, when it comes to lactose free milk. I tried lactose free milk one time and spent the next two days in so much stomach pain. I cringe when I see it stores. So guess the biggest difference I’ve found people need to know between lactose intolerant and a cow protein allergy is lactose free milk is either (I presume) heaven sent or devil spawn.

when i was in third grade i was friends with these two girls who both liked Percy Jackson as much as i did and we’d play Camp Halfblood at recess (as one does when they’re eight years old) and one time i walked up to them whispering and they stopped when i got close. and this kept happening so finally i demanded they tell me what they were talking about and they said “we don’t think you think the Greek gods are real” and so obviously i was like “? cause they aren’t” and they exchanged this glance like they pitied me and basically said that the gods WERE real and they couldnt play with me anymore if i didnt believe. and eight year old me was sitting there like ‘are you fucking serious’ because i was the one that got them into pjo in the first place. and anyway a couple days later i straight up lied to them that i had realized the Greek gods WERE real because i liked playing with them and didnt want to deal with trying to get them to realize they were insane. so yeah.
(extra bit of lore: the other blonde girl would try to gaslight me into thinking that Annabeth had straight hair because she wanted to play as her and she had straight hair (i was also blonde and have curly hair). and i knew she was full of shit but let it slide because i just wanted the play the game)

i am allergic to dawn dish soap because somehow im weaker than a duckling. i have super sensitive skin so i get rashes from a ton of different soaps and skin products, but dawn is the main one i encounter because its evil and hates me
