Thousand Sons acolyte and Inquisitor. @cerisila 's gorgeous boys. â˘ĚâŠâ˘Ě đ
Finally tried sketching Magnus. Kind of a test for now, his hair is so fun though. â¤ď¸
Seth doodles again because he's one of my comfort zones đ And an extra dumb sketch of Camlin being... Camlin. When they first meet. He's been around children more often than an Astartes is supposed to. (ᾠ⢠ᴠâ˘)

Daddyâs at the food store, Mummyâs out of town,
Sheâs working at the hospital since Rhona came to town,
Hide away, hide away, Miss Rhonaâs come to town,
Hide away, hide away, sheâs come to take us down.
Miss Rhonaâs at the doorstep, Iâll keep 6 feet away,
But Grandma needs the paper, Iâll take her some today,
Hide away, hide away, Miss Rhonaâs come to stay,
Hide away, hide away, we canât come out to play.
But Grandma needs the paper, Iâll take her some today,
And hereâs a note from Rhona, she wanted me to say,
Hide away, hide away, keep 6 feet away,
Hide away, hide away, she took us down today.
[Image ID: Tumblr user @neanderthyall says in the notes, âI thought that 6 feet was kind of a double meaning. Like six feet away to stop the spread, but when people die theyâre six feet underground, and its six feet of the dirt that keeps you apart. Like âHide away, hide away, even though it hurts Hide away, hide away, or the six feet will be dirtâ.â End ID.]

Blood Elf: A Character Guide
This isnât to try and tell you what to do and what not to do; this is for people who want more lore accurate characters and donât know where to start.
SOURCE
History
Evolution (Year -13,500): The blood elves originate from a upper class of night elves known as the Highborne, or high elves. The high elf queen Azshara attempted to summon Sargeras through the Well of Eternity (Year -10,000), resulting in the single continent splitting into the four we know today, known as the Sundering. After this, the night elves forbade any use of arcane magic, fearing a second Sundering. Most of those who refused to cease this were high elves, thus leading to their banishment night elven lands. After the Scourge invasion of QuelâThalas (Year -20), the high elves chose to take the name âblood elfâ to honour the dead. From the blood elves come an assortment of sub-races:Â Wretched are blood elves who have been overcome by magical addiction, Felblood are those corrupted by The Burning Legion, Sanâlayn are blood elves risen in Northrend to serve the Scourge, and lastly came a faction of their people who delved into the Void, known as Void elves, but were subsequently banished for their actions.
Exile (Year -7,300): Many high elves refused to give up their use of arcane magic, seeing it as their birthright. They were then banished from night elven lands, guided by Dath'Remar Sunstrider. Their kingdom of QuelâThalas is founded.
Exile ends: (Year -6,800): The construction of Silvermoon City is completed. Somewhere between the exile and this year, a font of power, The Sunwell, is created from a vial of stolen Well of Eternity water.
Joining the Alliance (Year 3): following the First War, the high elves ally themselves with the newly formed Alliance of Lordaeron.
The fall of QuelâThalas (Year 20): during the Third War, a Scourge invasion headed by newly-made death knight Arthas Menethil assaults the city to use the Sunwell tor resurrect Kelâthuzad. Anasterian Sunstrider, great-grandson to DathâRemar, and Ranger-General Sylvanas Windrunner are most notably among those to fall, the latter to be raised as a banshee. The high elves who survived rename themselves blood elves in honour of the deceased and are led by their Prince Kaelâthas, son of Anasterian.
Leaving the Alliance (Year 22): in the hopes of finding a new source of power after the loss of the Sunwell, the Blood elves align themselves with Illidan Stormrage and the naga and venture into Outland.
The fall of Kaelâthas: (Year 26): by this year, the Outland blood elves have captured the old naaru fortress, Tempest Keep, and send naaru Mâuru back to QuelâThalas. They would later use his spark to reignite the Sunwell. With the aid of Sylvanas, now freed from the undead Scourge, Azerothian blood elves are accepted into the Horde. Kaelâthas allies himself with The Burning Legion and is killed in Tempest Keep. After himself being resurrected, Kaelâthas retreats to Silvermoon to try and summon Kilâjaeden into Azeroth. He is defeated finally.
Physical traits
Life expectancy: Blood elves can live up to thousands of years, appearing to age up to a certain point before staying physically the same at adulthood.
Height: blood elves are shorter than other elf races with females being 5 foot on average and males being around 5.5.
Eye colour: Usually, blood elves have green eyes due to exposure to fel, however after the cleansing of the Sunwell theyâve also been known to possess golden ones.
Cosmetics: Unlike night elves, blood elves, along with their high elf counterparts, do not possess facial markings of a rite of passage.
Personality traits
Royals:Â Stereotypically, blood elves are known to be a proud and potentially arrogant people, but this may derive from their culture of respecting their highborne heritage and elevated status within past elven societies. Their regal outlook most likely come from a need to honour their deceased kin.
Dependency: Due to their reliance on arcane magics, reports of addiction are rife within Blood elf society. A constant need for this power may result in withdrawals, causing irritability and snappy nature.
Other races: Blood elves seem to integrate well into the Horde, though some view the lifestyle of creatures like orcs or trolls as primitive and dirty due to its drastic contrast to their luxurious habits. Theyâve been known to outright refuse services to trolls. The Forsaken relations are complex: some are still wary due to the invasion of Silvermoon while others recognise Sylvanasâ input while attempting to gain membership on their behalf for the Horde. On the other hand, the bitter grudge between night elves and blood elves continue: night elves regarding them with suspicion or even hostility and blood elves viewing their Kalimdor cousins as savages.
Other creatures: the favoured mount of the blood elves are hawkstriders due to their speed and ability to blend in with the woods of Eversong, as well as dragonhawks. Mana wyrms once served as guardians of crystals and arcane wards within QuelâThalas, but since the Scourge invasion theyâd become maddened and blood elves have even been seen to feed upon them.
Culture
Languages: Blood elves speak Thalassian, a derivative of Darnassian. They also speak Orcish.
Government: the oldest form of blood elf rule was a monarchy, started with DethâRamar Sunstrider who led the high elves throughout their exile. His great-grandson Anasterian died in the Silvermoon invasion by the Scourge and his son Kaelâthas refused to take up his crown, saying that his father deserved to the last king of Silvermoon, prefering to call himself âLordâ. When Kaelâthas led a faction of his people to Outland, Lorâthemar Theron, once second-in-command to Sylvanas, became Regent Lord in his absence and continued to rule as the sole leader after his demise to this very day.Â
Military: One of the oldest military organisations is the Farstriders, a group of rangers led by Halduron Brightwing after succeeding Sylvanas, forming officially in Year -500 but with membersâ roots going back to the Troll Wars in -2,800. A more recent addition to blood elf ranks are the Blood Knights, led by Lady Liadrin. Once members of the Royal Guard, they renounced the Light believing it to have failed them during the Scourge invasion. However, later on they vowed to aid Aâdal following the corruption of Kaelâthas and re-embraced it.Â
Religion: In stark contrast to their night elf cousins, the blood elves opt to worship the sun rather than the moon. They had a specific path of the Light prior to the Third War that led them to be disenchanted with the force. However, after Kaelâthas used Mâuruâs power to charge a new Sunwellâs power, those such as Liadrin feel the need to serve and worship the Light to atone for their sins.Â
Traditions
Red is a commonly worn colour in tribute of their namesake.
Amazing! I would just add they also speak common. They were Alliance for a bit so it make sense, even if they left they would still know it! But obviously, in game you canâtâŚ.

Read/skimmed most of the Nelf books, which are pretty bad books overall, but do contain some really great characterization moments⌠and I just wanna say what a HUGE crime it is that every official art of the Stormrage bros just look like constipated purple Judge Dredds, as the books do not at all portray them that way. Malfurion is just a big soft clueless nerdy hippie and Illidan ends every sentence with an exclamation mark and is basically the embodiment of âThatâs his⌠eager faceâ. Whether intended or not, it ends up pretty cartoony so naturally I enjoyed that a lot.
I would like to share the story of âHush, Tyrandeâ.
It occurs in one of the Caverns of Time dungeons, Well of Eternity, where you go back to the first demon invasion and fight with Illidan and later Tyrande to right the past or whatever. Tyrande helps you on the final boss, then Malfurion, whoâs done dick all, shows up at the end and replies to Tyrande saying âMalfurion-!â with âHUSH Tyrande. Where is Illidan?â
Itâs a single line in the game at the end of a dungeon, why does it matter? Well, there were articles written about it, Blizzard had to change a boat name because of it, at least one guild is named after it. Itâs solidly achieved meme status in the community. Collapsed-vacuum skulled dudebros HUEHUEHEU about it because a woman (and significant other) is getting told to shut up. Everyone else is like wow, I guess Malfurion is an asshole, or, heâs not supposed to be an asshole, and Blizz is just stupid or sexist and doesnât realize how bad it sounds. Â
Welp, now that I am cursed with the knowledge of the awful but endearing WOTA books from which this scene is taken word for word from, I feel like I should shed some light on what must have actually occurred to make that dungeon performance the way it is. Especially because, in all my googling, I see people making jokes about the line, I see people complain about it and how horrible Malfurion is, thereâs people complaining that people would complain about itâŚ.but I could not find anyone point out the fact that ITâS ACTUALLY COMPLETELY WRONG AND NOT WHAT HAPPENS IN THE BOOK. Â
Iâm reminded of this old gem:
So, hereâs the scene: The Sundering had just begun, the Well is starting to go apeshit. The following scene is Azshara making her deal with Nâzoth, so yeah. Tyrande and Ilidan are trying to make their way out of the city, as they are very close to the well. Malfurion shows up on Ysera to get them out. Malfurion has not seen either of them in person since the previous book, when Tyrande was captured and he got all guilty and depressed. Anyway, here you go, slightly edited to remove exposition Knaak is inexplicably putting in at the end of the book. I have provided some visuals.
So. Just in case someone wants to argue that itâs still him telling her to shut up, let me also say that, this author uses âHushâ a lot. He never uses âShhâ, or you know.. describes what doesnât need to be voiced (lol). I donât want to subject yall to more Knaakwardness than I need too, but itâs clear this is meant to be comforting and kind based on the rest of his writing. In fact, an example is when the reverse situation occurs in the previous book, after Malf gets punched in the brain by Archimonde:
Like, sheâs actually being sweet to him in this scene. She is not telling him to STFU. Â
But as you might imagineâŚâŚ with no context, and if youâd never read any of the books and JUST read what was in quotation marksâŚ. you could easily think uh I guess heâs telling her to be quiet. So, this was a case of whatever game ââââwriterââââ was directing the recording session definitely had not read the books, didnât know or care what the context was, and must have just thought it was a given Malfurion would talk to Tyrande like that.
And you MIGHT also think that all the stuff Illidan is saying in this dungeon is just supposed to just be cool and edgy, and NOT being said by a lil whiny shit whoâs been being a total tool to Tyrande throughout this escape and blaming all their problems on Malfurion. As a nice little bit of final irony, a lot of responses to Well of Eternity Malfurion is âSee! Shoulda picked Illidan!â, while, at one point in the book, Illidan is LITERALLY silences Tyrande with magic because he gets annoyed with her.  Â
What Iâm trying to say isâŚ. the Well of Eternity dungeon was ghost directed by Illidan.
But I am also saying the dungeon is one hilarious, blatant example of someone just writing down out of context lines and devs not knowing lore and characters or giving a shit.
THank you for coming to my tebtalk
