-Negation of imperfection: The fan of the mind trick theory is unable and unwilling to accept that Padme fell for Anakin's clumsiness and intensity, just like Sabé is incapable of acknowledging that Padme has emotional needs too.

-Brainwashing as a shield: For both of those fans and Sabé, it's far easier to believe that Padme is a victim of circumstance rather than admitting to get off the pedestal (one she was tired of being) to be with an unstable teen.

-Dehumanizing to protect the myth: By using the mind trick theory, the fans remove Padme's agency, turning her into a defenseless victim, just like Sabé does, something that Padme explicitely calls her out for: "I am more than Amidala, you know?" rather than seeing her as a woman who only wanted genuine connections.

sabé makes me go CRAZYYY bc like at age 14, she changes her name and pledges her life and death to another 14 year old girl, and she is willing to stand in as much harm's way as needed to protect this child-queen. and sabé should know padmé better than anyone, but how do you pledge your entire existence to someone and NOT think she's some kind of saint, some sort of myth? even long after queen amidala's term ends, sabé is still padmé amidala's shadow first and sabé/tsabin/a person second.

In the url bar, type in about:config

It'll give you a big scary warning page that you might poke holes in your browser. Good. You want to do that. Click continue.

One by one, you're going to need to put each of these into the search bar in the page, not up top:

Each of these are gonna have a lil toggle icon on the right hand side that looks like a funky double-ended arrow. Click that and the value next to it should change to false. It all auto saves as you go. Some of these might already be set to false by default and that's peachy.

The next best thing you can do for yourself is to set your default search engine to udm14 or Qwant, but for now, we're just tidying the garden a lil bit.
