My second fic for Pride 2026 is the amazing story written by my dear friend @cemeteryangel725. It features anarchist activist Crowley and Southern Lawyer Aziraphale, reuniting in 2004 after meeting at a summer camp as teens.

It is also, I am thrilled to say, a birthday gift for my friend @eybefioro! HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRIEND!! I MADE YOU SOMETHING! I truly hope you enjoy my southern voiced Aziraphale 😂. I can’t wait to hear what you think.

Summary: 2004. New York City. The Republican National Convention.

It was always a possibility that Crowley would be arrested. He'd written the number for the National Lawyers' Guild on his arm before heading out to join the protest march, after all. But he wasn't exactly expecting to have the worst night of his life — or to find out that his lawyer is Aziraphale Fell.

And fuck, he looks just as kissable as he did at summer camp twelve years ago. What is Crowley going to do?

Podfic: an arm to be held at the wrist

Ooooh I am so excited to share this with you all today! This fic, written by the kind, funny and creative @ineffabildaddy completely captivated me when I read it and I was so thrilled when he agreed I could record it! And then, to make it even better, the talented @portraitofalonelydyke agreed that I could use her fantastic original art as the podfic cover!

This sweet, sexy story about how two disaster humans find each other and learn the joy that is being fully and completely accepted by the person you love, is such a delight. I do hope you’ll give it a listen!

Summary: Aziraphale Fell, the most highly regarded American Traditional tattoo artist in Central London, spends each Friday evening in the French restaurant opposite his studio on Whickber Street. One night, he plucks up the courage to strike up a real conversation with Crowley, the dashing waiter who always serves him (and happens to be covered in tattoos).

That night, Aziraphale offers Crowley a tattoo appointment to take place after his shop's opening hours, which Crowley happily accepts. When they're finally alone together in Aziraphale's studio, both men realise that it won’t be long before the tension between them comes to a head.

Podfic: Clocking Out

My first podfic for 2026 and just in time for the Monday commute as we all re-enter regular life and try to remember what it’s like to do a job!

This one has been on my wishlist for a while and I’m so grateful to the kind and talented @charlottemadison42 for the permission to record this story. I had a great time and I do hope that you’ll enjoy it.

Summary: Crowley was indubitably the hottest guy at the office.

It was unfair. He was tall, he was angular, he was stylish, he was sophisticated; he was symmetrical except where it was cute to be crooked, and he looked young except where it was sexy to show signs of maturity. He dressed to kill and his black hair was always perfect and he wore sunglasses indoors.

Unfortunately, like most hot guys, he came across as a bit of a tool.

But even Aziraphale wouldn’t wish this on a tool. Mary from PR had the poor man cornered at the office Valentine’s Day mixer, and Mary was tipsy, and she was talking, and she was leaning in while Crowley was quite decidedly leaning away.

Aziraphale wasn’t normally one to interfere, but he felt a sort of obligation, both as part of the HR team and as someone who could never seem to find any small talk circles to join. So -- with the resignation of a man who knows that if he doesn’t personally wash the break room dishes, they will remain unwashed -- he approached.

Podfic: Naked in New York

Finishing out podfic posting for 2025 and just in time for any last minute holiday errands. I am thrilled to present this collaboration with my dear friend @shipper-of-all-things!!! We had such an excellent time revisiting Actor Crowley and Interior Designer Aziraphale, courtesy of the talented and imaginative @cemeteryangel725!!!!

If you remember these two horny, sassy bastards from Naked in Malibu, you will remember how much fun they are (and how much they both enjoy Aziraphale’s lingerie habit). Join us for another adventure as these two spend some time in New York right before Christmas, learning that they mean more to each other than they originally thought.

Summary: Crowley and Aziraphale have been seeing each other for five months, and news of their secret relationship hasn't hit the tabloids yet. But when Crowley is invited to New York to appear on Late Night with Gabe Archer to promote his latest film, he realizes that it might be time to throw caution to the wind and tell Aziraphale how he really feels.

Podfic: I Wish I Had a River

Another Christmas podfic for your listening pleasure! This one is near and dear to my heart because it’s a sequel to my favorite story ever written by the kind and insanely talented @cemeteryangel725 Tony and Azi are two characters I love very dearly and in this story, they are still learning how to be there and support each other after their long absence from each others’ lives. They work through deep feelings to figure out how to make the holiday something meaningful to them and I just adore it to pieces. I do hope you’ll check it out. 

Summary: Azi is grateful for every day he gets to spend with Tony. But he just can't help it - the holiday season brings up old memories and regrets, and he really struggles during the festive season.

Thankfully Tony is there to help him pick up the pieces.

Podfic for Naked and Afraid: Jingle Hell

This one has been in the works for a while and it’s so special. First credit, of course, has to go to @klikandtuna for writing the story that inspired this podfic. She responded enthusiastically to @frisbay’s request and was willing to trust two internet strangers to record it and for that, we are both grateful. The three of us had THE BEST TIME recording together, y’all don’t even know! I did the rough edits of the original audio, but the big lift here was @frisbay for the sound editing. As you listen and enjoy the luscious soundscape they have created, all credit to them. I can’t even describe the awe I feel at their talent. To get the most out of the soundscaping, this podfic is best enjoyed with headphones. 

We also have to give a special shout out to Limikeriskit, Sparklyshinymagpie, IneffableCharlie and JustaDandelion for their recording of the commercials for other fics by @klikandtuna that exist between the sections. Podfic: The Holiday Arrangement

Let’s start off the holiday podfics with a sweet, sexy and funny one by the talented @missunderstoodlyrics! This story is so much fun and it is my pleasure to bring it to you in a new format. Reading this one always makes me feel like my soul is getting a hug, and I feel like we could all use that right now. I hope you enjoy it.

Summary: When Manhattan veterinarian Crowley crashes his beloved Bentley into Eden City's historic angel statue - thanks to one troublemaking goat - he finds himself sentenced to 90 days as the small Utah town's only vet. The last thing he expects is to fall into bed with the goat's owner: Aziraphale, a flannel-wearing British ex-pat turned sustainable rancher with a penchant for bow ties and heated glances.

Their arrangement seems perfect: no-strings passion to pass the time until Crowley leaves for his Hollywood TV deal just before Christmas. But as autumn fades to winter in their cozy mountain town, they discover that hearts don't always follow the rules. With Crowley's departure looming, they'll have to decide if three months of happiness is worth risking forever for.

Podfic: The Beginning and the End

I made this one for myself. This story is near and dear to my heart and when I thought about the fics I wanted to record, this one was at the top of my list.

This story isn’t fluffy, but it’s hopeful. It doesn’t shy away from the possibilities of what the world could be like in this situation, but there’s an underlying optimism. I can’t say enough good things about it and I’m so, so grateful to @snae-b for agreeing to let me record it.

Summary: A bitter alpha. A closeted omega. Alone together at the end of the world.

One of the many things I love about Good Omens, the tv show, is its details. In particular, the set design and the shooting locations create a strong sense of place. It's a show that couldn't be set anywhere but London. In an era where Vancouver or Budapest often stands in for New York or Paris in films or on television, that's special. For this week's theme, I'll highlight some fics that I feel create a very specific setting for the story. In my mind, these are stories that could never be set anywhere else; the setting is that crucial to the tale.

I'll start with a fandom classic that may be familiar to many of you, The False and the Fair (E) by @princip1914. The story opens with some lovely description of the Appalachian region that feels familiar to those of us who have been there. The writer also gives terrific care to the characters. Aziraphale Wright belongs to the family that owns the local coal mine while Anthony Crowley is the son of a miner never able to leave his home behind. If you're a fan who has never read this story, you're in for a treat for many reasons, but its sense of place is the first thing you'll appreciate.

The next fic is set in a place completely opposite the Appalachian mountains, the New York metro area. It's Love and Solidarity (E) by @cemeteryangel725. Crowley is arrested while protesting the 2004 Republican National Convention. The lawyer who turns up to defend him is Aziraphale, his friend and first kiss from summer camp. Yeah, the setting wasn't the point of the story, but I felt like I was standing on a platform waiting for a PATH train or climbing the stairs to a lower Manhattan Street as I read. I lived for many years in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York and appreciated a story steeped in its beautiful and underappreciated wine country. In Cayuga Blush (T) by asparkofgoodness /@thetunewillcome, you'll be introduced to interesting facts about winemaking as well as the lovely setting. The writer also did a stellar job adapting canon to their story. If you liked @sevdrag's Old Vines (E), a much-deserved fandom classic that also offers a lovely tribute to the winemakers and setting of California's Russian River Valley, you should read Cayuga Blush.

In I REALLY FUCKING LOVE YOU (M) by @thisisshiny (M), Crowley turns up kinda dead. Aziraphale tries to help him follow the clues that led him to say the stories title, in case it helps him recover himself. I can't say much without giving the story away. But I guarantee you will find yourself in places that could not be substituted for any others.

Next up, we have a setting that is more compact--not a region or a city, but a garden. It's The Tree of Life (M) by @raxacoricofallapatoriusrulez. Set in Kew Gardens, where Crowley is a staffer, Aziraphale turns up for a tour one day, not realizing it was planned as an event for children. Thus begins a slow burn romance. Much of the story takes place in the gardens, inspired by specific places. The writer includes photos of the places reference in the story at the bottom of each chapter. This is a WIP, regularly updated.

Finally, I'll end with two road-trip fics; one a WIP and the other complete. First, we have Take my Hand (E) by @tawnyontumblr in which rock star, Crowley, wants to party cross America by car before returning to the recording studio. He takes guitar tech, Aziraphale, along for company. The route they take? The famous Route 66. Although the route is no longer the destination it was before major highways, its attractions are still famous. This is a setting you'll love if you enjoy America's ticky tacky wonders. The other road trip is a WIP, set in the canon universe, Thus Saith the Lord (E) by @on1occasionfork. After averting yet another apocalypse, Crowley suggests a road trip before Aziraphale returns to London. They visit a number of famous (and infamous) American tourist sites that could exist nowhere else. Adding to the setting is the writer's choice to name the chapters for text that could only have come from American billboards, cementing the sense of place.

Chapter 1 features some of Gabriel’s bird-thoughts on his mate and a cozy winter evening between Aziraphale and Crowley. Chapter 9 features a vivid dream of Crowley’s and the ensuing results.
