Being kind of oblivious when mentioning hetalia for instance when I talk about it, I say "sorry it's kind of a offensive show" when my friend at work spoke about it , they said "yeah I remember it back then, I was nervous to bring it up because of the rep" while new gen fans generally will be less nervous to mention it.
