Have you seen the new movie? It's on library. It's literally on the library. It's on library without ads. It's literally on your local public library. You can probably ask for it on your library. Dude it's on your library. It's in the original case too. It's on library. You can watch it at the library. You can go to your local library and watch it. Register onto your local library right now. Go to your library. Dive into your library. You can watch it. It's on there. Your library has it for you. Your library has it for you.

Some people leave their socks all over the house.
Luke does the same thing but with right gloves.
Wherever he happens to be when he takes the glove off is where it’s probably staying.
your straight boyfriend is not FRUITY he is not a TWINK he is not GAY FOR THE STRAP he is a 25 year old heterosexual man named TYLER and his favorite hobby is playing MARVEL RIVALS
"all you ever do is complain" that's not true. I also resent.
and love..........
you think that you're so alone in the world then you read literature from hundreds of years ago and you realize that other people have always felt this way
Project Hail Mary side characters
A lot of the side characters in PHM were changed/merged/removed for the movie so I thought I would draw how I imagined them while reading the book. Closeups below the cut!

God gives his strongest soldiers (Eva Stratt enjoyers) his toughest battles ( a strong dislike of the song “Sign of the Times”)
The parallels between Rocky asking Grace to take his helmet off v. Stratt asking Grace to go on the Hail Mary.
“Do you trust me? Do you trust me enough to risk everything?”
the worst part of getting into new media is when youre at the stage where youre completely obsessed with it but you cant go through the tags or seek out anything about it bc youre not fuckiny done yet

One reason I love Project Hail Mary and The Martian is how both explore grief.
In both Mark and Grace are fully isolated for huge parts of their stories. They both miss home. Home being Earth ofc, but also their coworkers, the outdoors, and their futures. (Both these men are SAD.)
They do their best, sure. But they grieve the life they have lost. They are in hopeless and desperate situations and contemplate death often.
While Weir doesn’t really get into either of their personal lives (especially Mark Watney’s past), the readers are stuck in their heads and within these cycles of grief.
Neither character has the time to mourn their crewmates lives (remember, Mark did not know if his crew survived the evac for awhile) or their own lives. BECAUSE THEY HAD TO SURVIVE BY THEMSELVES. And even if they never planned suicide, they both had to consider it.
Grief is universal. If you have love someone on planet earth, you’ve probably lost someone you loved. And if you’ve lost someone, you have had to make the choice to survive it.
Both Mark and Grace survived. They survived hopelessness and despair. Reminding us that we can and must survive our own complex and complicated grief.
