heart in the waves

For Amos: this thing that has no real purpose other than to be cute (she got the idea from a DIY blog and thought it was just about the most sappily adorable and fitting thing, so she had to do it); also something like this, but a more handmade/handwritten look to it, and with forest green coloring mixed with seaside decorations (another cute DIY thing that he can keep somewhere to remind him of her); a fancy and super warm scarf; a small journal/sketchbook for whatever he would like to scribble; and she also cooked his favorite meal and did other little things to show her affection and help him feel as comfortable as possible while the time of year is so hard on him. 

She also reciprocated his offer of travel, if he has any place he’d like to go, or just wants to get off the Isle for a while. She’s not sure if she wants to go search for her roots again just yet, but a visit to Scotland in itself sounds nice. 

For Saffron (lest she be left out): these things (they have catnip in them)

For Cian: this scarf, which she made her own waterproofing charm on (since cats don’t seem to like getting wet and also the water is effing cold, so no hypothermia for the cat king)

For Chiara: this driftwood jewelry organizer set, which she made herself, for all Chiara’s works in progress or just for her personal collection. and also this phone case, which reminded her of the siren

For her employees at Merrick’s, Shane and Juliet, they got the holidays of their preference off work. Ceana took her own break for the days around the Solstice, but she knows Juliet would want to spend the days around Christmas with her family, and Shane also got to pick a handful of days (sorry I don’t actually know his religious leanings whoops). And a tiny bonus. 

Plus some small gifts: 

For Juliet: a necklace that she thinks suits her style

For Shane: a cool bracelet

For Chris: he also gets a bracelet

For Jackie: something for her bird nature, a wreath made out of birdseed, left out for her to nibble on as she pleases. and also a bit of pretty jewelry. of course she has to stay on good terms with Amos’s mother-figure. ^^”

For Angus: the god of love and poetry who’s been so supportive of Amos and her relationship with him, Ceana mustered the courage to dedicate a Gaelic ballad to him, which she thought would be an appropriate offering (something so private and close to her heart). She sang privately for him, since as a god she figures she shouldn’t have to worry about accidentally affecting him with her voice. She was happy to come up with the idea, since she’s usually too afraid to sing around others, despite how much she enjoys it.
